This is a nice-looking clock that seems to be aiming for a bit of a faux wood "rustic" look. The clock itself seems to be made out of some sort of particle board or something. It doesn't much matter to me, it looks nice hanging on the wall, so what it's made of doesn't really seem to make any difference. It is indeed silent, but you can tell it's working via a small white notch in the center that's basically an "invisible" seconds hand. The clock comes with its own small plastic mounting piece installed by hammering four tiny nails, though you could easily opt to just hang the clock on a nail instead. The clock keeps good time. It came with hardware to hang it on the wall. Lightweight and looks to be good quality. Takes only 1 AA battery to operate it. I am happy with this product.

This is a nice size clock for a bedroom or home office. It’s not too big. The graphics look nice and there is no annoying ticking. The hands are pretty well protected by a plastic cover for shipping. Overall nice appearance and function.
