  • It'A Good Value, But...
Color: Driftwood Style: 70 Inch TV Stand Pattern Name: TV Stand
The assembled stand is pretty sturdy, decent to look at and a good value. However, I'm docking a star for three reasons. First, I had to drill out some missing holes. It was time consuming and risky because the holes for the dowels are very large relative to how thick the 'boards' are and there's little margin for error. Second, the stickers you get to cover the holes are kind of sketch to begin with, but no biggie on sides, hidden or even interior surfaces, but to have to place some on the face of the unit is ridiculous and a sign of poor design. As much as they say they blend in, you can't ignore that they only blend in 75%. They don't disappear. Lastly, assembly is pretty easy and straightforward until the last step where you put the 'lid' on. During this step you have to line up 8-10 each of dowels and cam units, plus align the back pieces in their little tracks. It all has to be perfect for the cams to do their job, otherwise it'll wobble to and fro. Again, time consuming. Fourth (of three gripes) - half the little dowels were undersized and the little bit of glue they give you is insufficient to make them tight enough to do their job of joining the pieces. Conclusion: the unit looks ok and will do the job, but easily could be better. ... show more

  • (imo) nice modern tv stand w/ electric fireplace
Color: Grey Wash Style: 70 Inch Fireplace TV Stand Pattern Name: TV Stand
i bought this for a steal around $190 for the Grey Wash TV Stand. This fits my 75 inch tv, setting it up was easy and it’s sturdy. i sat on top of it while my girlfriend screwed on the screws so it can be flush and no gaps, i weigh 175lbs and it felt sturdy but won’t do it again just to be safe. no complaints at all but the inside shelves don’t fit the screws that it sits on top of because the groove isn’t cut on the right spot but it doesn’t bother me because i’m satisfied. ... show more

  • Successful assembly, Supports my 55" TV nicely
Color: Espresso Style: 58 Inch TV Stand Pattern Name: TV Stand
I purchased the WE 58" TV stand in Espresso. WE Furniture 58" Wood TV Stand Storage Console, Espresso OVERALL COMMENTS: It's pretty much what I hoped it would be for the price point. Not a piece that I'd feel particularly attached to but it's nice looking, structurally sound and stable, and fits my 55" TCL TV very well. Came well packaged, with all the pieces, and without any obvious defects. Assembly was not seamless, but I did not run into any major problems. I was able to assemble it by myself in about 2 hours (I am a 31-yo woman with experience assembling similar furniture). Generally, I'd recommend this piece if you're looking for something functional, attractive, and reasonably-priced. I purchased it on sale for $90 and would not pay more than $120-130 for this product otherwise (I've seen it on other websites for $130 and that seems a bit high for its actual quality). Read on for more specific details of my experience. SHIPPING EXPERIENCE: The product arrived within the shipping window: a day earlier than quoted at check-out but a day later than I was told after purchase. Not a big problem there. When the stand did arrive, the external packaging was in good shape; a little beat up but no holes, rips, or tears in the box or packaging tape. Upon opening the box, the contents were packed very carefully and seemed well-protected from the jostling of the shipping process. MATERIAL INVENTORY AND CONDITION: Before starting to build, I did an inventory of the materials. None of the pieces were missing and I had a few extras of some pieces (e.g., wooden dowels, cam lock-nuts, cam-screws, and stickers). All pieces were in good condition (e.g., no obvious nicks, scratches, or broken bits). ASSEMBLY EXPERIENCE: I was nervous as I began to assemble the stand, because some other reviewers noted several problems (missing pieces, inadequate drill-holes). Fortunately, I did NOT experience any of these problems. I initially attached the side panels (piece #3) to the legs upside down, and had to disassemble and reassemble the sides before I could attach them properly to the lower shelf (Piece #2) but that was definitely a user error and had nothing to do with the instructions. I struggled most when placing the top piece (piece #1) on the rest of the stand, because it was a little finicky aligning all the dowels and cam-screws with their respective holes on Piece #1. However, with a little slightly aggressive jiggling, I finally got the Piece #1 to settle in properly. This was definitely the hardest part of assembly and took me a while to sort out. Unlike other reviewers, all the cam, dowel, screw, and bolt holes were drilled into the pieces as expected. No complaints there. None of the screw or bolt holes were pre-threaded, so it required a bit of elbow grease to get the screws and bolts into the panels but resulted in a more stable product. Due to the tightness of the un-threaded holes and directive to do it all manually (without using power tools), screwing the cam-screws into the panels was tedious and my hand slipped a few times. I nicked one hole such that I splintered the edge around it a bit, but not in a way that damaged the integrity of the structure or that was noticeable once the screw was set. I didn't expect to like the stickers that came in the box to cover the cams, but once I tried them I found that they actually blend in really well into the wood and cover the cams effectively, so I personally chose to use them. You honestly cannot see them unless shining bright light onto them and even still they look better than most cam covers I've seen on similar self-assembly products. Overall, it took me a little over 2 hours to assemble this product by myself. I tend to be very methodical and purposeful, though, and probably could have finished faster if I'd wanted to. There was only one step during which I thought a partner would have been helpful to stabilize the middle panel (piece #4) while I attached it with bolts to the bottom shelf (piece #2). However, I managed just fine on my own. ASSESSMENT OF THE END RESULT: APPEARANCE: Overall, the final assembled piece looks nice. It doesn't look more expensive than what it is, but it doesn't look super cheap, either. I managed to avoid any major scratches during assembly and none were present right out-of-the-box. On a totally personal note, the espresso color doesn't match the rest of my furniture quite as well as I'd have liked. However, my furniture is a modge-podge of hand-me-downs, garage sale items, and Ikea-type furniture I've collected over the years, so it's not exactly a cohesive collection. The TV stand a bit more on the matte side (as opposed to lustrous) than I expected but is suitable. UTILITY: It fits my 55" TCL TV perfectly and has a lovely modern feel. I like that I'm able to mostly hide electronics cords but might have liked for the cord-holes to come 'closed', such that you would have the option to open them up. They are about the size of a fist and if not covered by electronics or decoration you can see right through to what's behind the stand. STABILITY: My stand is not shaky as some reviewers commented. All the pieces fit together snugly. I have total confidence in its structural integrity and ability to hold my TV. That said, I wouldn't drag it across the floor without furniture gliders and one would need to take care if moving it in a moving truck or even to a new location in the house. If I had to, I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars for stability. I have other self-assembled furniture that has a sturdier feel to it but I don't find this piece to be precariously assembled or wobbly. ... show more

  • Single person assembly is possible
Color: Grey Wash Style: 58 InchTV Stand Pattern Name: TV Stand
Bought on sale, under $100, so it's a good deal. The reco is for 2 people to assemble, and when delivered it is really heavy. I opened the box on the porch and carried in pieces at a time. Took me 3.5 hours, and when I made a mistake because I always make a mistake, it was easy to figure out what I did wrong and fixed it, which is why I'm giving 5 stars. Looks good and is sturdy. One reviewer had trouble with panel 1, I did too until I turned it around and it simply settles into place. I did have to get on floor for some hard to reach places so if you aren't fairly mobile this might be too difficult. ... show more

  • Exactly what we wanted
Color: Driftwood Style: 70 Inch TV Stand Pattern Name: TV Stand
My partner and I needed a tv stand that was thin enough to sit on (and cover) our non working fireplace, but also long enough to fit out 75 in tv. This fit PERFECTLY. Easy to put together and sturdy enough to keep the dog out of the fireplace.

  • Excellent, especially for the money!
Color: Black Style: 58 InchTV Stand Pattern Name: TV Stand
Assembly was a cinch. Lots of thoughtful design choices like stickers to cover screws and more. It looks excellent all set up, it doesn't look or feel budget at all. Definitely be careful as it may scratch or dent easier than real wood (this is particle board), but as a TV stand which doesn't get touched anyways it's an excellent product. Would easily buy more or recommend to friends! ... show more

  • Pros and cons
Color: Grey Wash Style: 70 Inch Fireplace TV Stand Pattern Name: TV Stand
The product itself is nothing but a pro in my book. I would repurchase this item. What I would not buy again is for the delivery people to deliver it inside my home. It cost extra, and all they did was leave my entertainment center by the door. I'm disabled, and this was not ideal for me. So save yourself the money but buy the item. ... show more
