The product comes as advertised. I was especially pleased with the deep wood tones that some of these build kits lack. It is a sturdy build that is mostly easy to assemble (with the exception of a couple of poorly piloted holes around the door hinge which require a bit more force than expected). Like many similar products, this comes with wood textured stickers to hide screw holes after assembly. While these do a solid job from a distance, it feels obvious and tacky when viewed up close. Luckily (or maybe not) my decision on whether or not to use these stickers was made for me: the adhesive is NOT sufficient and the stickers all came off independently after just a few days. I don't mind the look of this TV stand with visible screw holes, though, so this didn't impact my own enjoyment of the product but it's something buyers should be wary of. Looks great once its built, Its very well packaged, and was in great shape. I had the door handle screws missing, however all the hardware was sealed in a nice bag. Also the Buckles for the screws appear soft and I bend 3 of them when tightening. Overall I am very happy with the finished product.

The product overall is great. It is very sturdy while I was building it my toddler was jumping on it and it held up fine. Color is very pretty had 2 small scratches but hardly noticeable. My only complain would be that it is way too small for $120. The size of this should be more around $70. In the pictures you can see the comparison between the one I currently have (which was $300 and came already built) and the actual product. It took me about 1 hour to build instructions are very clear and easy to follow just make sure the pieces are facing the correct way. The media could not be loaded. From the time that I unloaded everything from the box to the time I finished installing the fireplace insert it took about 2.5hrs. Per the instructions I managed to refrain from using power tools & just used my handheld screwdriver 🪛. The hardest thing to screw in was the support legs on the bottom of the unit. Forearms were on fire after that one 💪. I did read several reviews that the small screws for the glass doors kept breaking so I did drill the holes just a bit deeper to reduce the tension on the heads of those screws. It went together great. Everything lined up. All the holes were drilled correctly & deep enough. It’s a heavy piece of wood & feels very sturdy when done. You can’t beat this one for the price. The only issue I had when putting it together was that the glass door hit when opening & closing it so I just loosened the screws & shifted it over a hair & screwed it back in. This brand has won me as a lifetime customer. The instructions to this unit was simple everything laid out labeled and it was the easiest installation ever. I did it myself with my active toddler. There were no missing parts and they even provided extra screw just incase. Also note you do not need a power tool. The tv stand is sturdy and looks like I bought it from furniture store and they delivered it. The color is exactly as they advertised. I didn’t get the fireplace one but now I wish I did! It had no scratches and it fits great in my living room ... show more

This is a beautiful TV stand but it does require a lot of patience to assemble. Be sure to follow directions to the T or you will be taking it apart to fix issues. The connections are those locking screw-in things that once they are in place will break very easily if you need to redo them. They are cheaper versions and not enough extras are supplied. I ended up ordering better quality replacement lock screws on Amazon for those that broke (9 broke). Very sturdy and great looking when you put it together properly. ... show more

We get everything taken out of the box, first thing we realize is we dont have a manual to know what goes where. So we find one online and my husband starting getting it put together. Then as we are getting it put together, we are missing a block of wood that is suppose to help make it sturdier. So it is more likely to cave in from what it sounds like in the video we found of a guy putting it. On a plus side, it is really heavy and seems like it is made out of decent material for the price of it. I love the color of it and how it looks in my house. We are hoping for the best and will update if it is still good even with the missing piece for the bottom piece in the center of it (the extra leg in the center). ... show more
