This is a great greenhouse. It is tall so it allowes my early girl tomatoes and serrano peppers to thrive. But it needs to be reinforced -- both to anchor it to the ground in the event of high winds (which send it blowing all over the yard) and to strenghten the rods if wildlife plops down on top of it. My greenhouse was recently destroyed by an unknown critter heavy enough to collapse it from the top, severely bending the top rear and rear standing rods. Boo! Thank you for this creation, though. The shell is a bit more sturdy then other greenhouses I've purchased. Easy to put together with 2 people and has held up through Mississippi storms so far. The only flaw is the ties to hold the door flap when you roll it up are way to short and pretty much worthless

Bought this to declare war against Rats, Squirrels which where eating my vegetables in my garden. I put it in prior to this growing season and it has worked perfectly so far. They have pretty much been ruining my crops every year for the last 5 years. Love it, will use it as a hot house this winter for my plants sensitive to the cold. Only thing I would make better is the Zipper. Needs a more sturdy zipper. One pull broke off since I started using it. Other than that, great product. ... show more

    • Easy to assemble, looks good, questionable durability.
This product was really quite simple to put together but I am a bit disappointed in the durability. We had a remarkably windy day not too long ago which understandably blew the greenhouse across our lawn but the plastic connectors that make up the frame broke on one of the sides so now we are missing a pole along the bottom side of the greenhouse. I would expect it to hold together better but it is still standing so that’s ok I guess. But I would be very diligent with where you decide to set this up if you live in an area prone to windy days. ... show more

    • Horrible piece of junk!
Let me say that the item arrived quickly, on estimated date, (I am not faulting the seller there, but the seller must be made aware of what a crappy piece of merchandise they are selling!) After that, the experience was all down hill. First of all, the plastic support pieces are so flimsy and thin, most of them came with cracks in them--the ones that weren't cracked to begin with cracked when we attempted to insert the metal bars into them. The wire shelves are ultra thin gauge, not sturdy at all. I actually paid extra for this unit, because it had wheels. Those wheels are a big joke! They are "offset" so they don't center beneath the frame where they go. The holes in the plastic frame where the wheels are supposed to go, were all split -- right out of the box. I tried everything to keep the wheels in place, but with such flimsy construction, every time you even touch the shelves (let alone try to move!) the wheels fall off. Can't speak for the plastic cover, I haven't even tried to put that on. I am so unimpressed with this item, and so unhappy with my purchase. I've had a mini portable greenhouse for many years, a very good one, it just finally wore out. Thought this would be the same... Save yourself a lot of grief--DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!! ... show more

    • Doesn't compare well to similar one I bought previously.
This is the second 4-tier mini greenhouse I've purchased through Amazon. The first one I bought in March of this year was from a different seller, but almost identical. (The first one was no longer available when I went to reorder.) The parts from both look like they were machined by the exact same manufacturer, but although the other wasn't perfect, this one is not as good. Two of the horizontal center support poles that go under the shelves were missing. And the cover is a tad tight, making it very hard to zip closed without really pulling, which puts stress on the zipper and will likely rip the zipper stitching soon or eventually. I installed it anyway because I needed something immediately to protect my plants on my front porch, but I am disappointed in the quality. The two shelves without center support are holding for now, but I don't want to put any heavy pots on them. Apart from the critical issues, I also realize I much prefer the clear cover of the other one I bought as opposed to the green reinforced vinyl cover of this version, but I knew when I ordered that I was getting the green cover. ... show more

We use this to store the porch plants during the winter months to keep the plants out of reach of the cats. It is tall enough to stand in for watering and maintenance of the plants, The cover on this one is much sturdier than the one we bought last year with the clear cover which did not hold up at the seams. The flaps on the cover are also long enough at the bottom to fold underneath to keep the cats from getting in at the bottom.
