This is by far the best value media shelf I have every purchased. The product is easy to install and looks clean and professional on the wall. I only give the shelf 4 stars for one reason... You can not easily remove the shelf if you would like to relocate it. There are black cosmetic caps that cover the mounting screws, you can not remove these caps without destroying them and if you're not careful, you will damage the shelf trying to get them back out after installation. There are two solutions if you think you might need to remove the shelf in the future. 1. Don't install them. You can place the shelves over or near the screw mounting sockets to cover them up rather than using the plastic cap. 2. Instead of installing the plastic caps, cover of the space with a piece of black electrical tape. This would be just as discreet and make future remove of the shelves a breeze. Have had installed in my room for approximately 7 months now. PS4 and cable box are on it, and it hasn't made a peep since the day I put it up. Dust it here and there and it will be fine. Hides wires well too once you figure it out! I mounted the shelf very close to the bottom of the TV in order to conceal the rest of the wiring. No strays for me! (minus the one running to the outlet) ... show more

Perfect!! It was just what I was looking for to hold my PlayStation 3, some games and other electronics! Oh, and about mounting.. This was mounted in a converted garage. The walls in this room consist of drywall placed over concrete block. Concrete block being what many homes in Florida are made from. I was able to mount this into my wall with the hardware included..no extra hardware required..but you will need masonry drill bits and a drill to get the job done. ... show more

This floating shelf was super easy to put together and install on the wall. The instructions that came with it were great, they were very easy to follow and everything was detailed and letters on instructions matched that of the parts in the bag that were also labeled with letters. This shelf is for sure high quality and built to last as I have an older Bose receiver on the lower self and it is heavy and this shelf didn't lower at all when I placed it on there. I very happy with product and glad I picked this one overall as the price point was amazing as well, you are getting more for your money in my opinion as they could likely charge more for this floating shelf and no one would complain as the quality, ease of use and included instructions really would make it worth it. If you are considering purchasing this product and having doubts don't as once you get it and install it you will be kicking yourself for waiting so long to do so. So I was kind of nervous about purchasing it after reading some reviews especially the ones about it shattering and being sensitive but on the contrary i would say the thing is very sturdy, of course you do have to be careful with it but it's not one of those DO NOT TOUCH OR IT'LL BREAK THINGS And it looks really nice in our room... we have a small room so we didnt want to take up room with a TV stand and this was the best way to go... looks amazing and fancy lol so we've been told! holds the xbox pretty well too... now we have ran into it multiple times lol but the grippers the game system has helps it stay on the shelf so its never moved or almost fell or anything also yes ge xbox does stick out a tad but again the way it grips on the material of the shelf we've never been worried with it falling or anything like that... installation was also pretty quick easy and it's a very nice thing that you can adjust the distance between the 2 shelves to your liking whatever they may be and you can hide the cables!!!... very happy with it and my husband loves it too! *we just added the sound bar and still havent gotten around to adjusting it so excuse the unorganized setup ... show more

I installed these as bedside tables in my small bedroom. They totally change the look of the room, making it look much cleaner and brighter, and open up some floor space. They're sturdy enough to hold a good-sized lamp, plus some books. I spray-painted all the pieces to contrast with the wall color. The walls are a pale green, I used a hunter green for the wall mounts, and it looks perfect with the clear glass shelves that have a green edge. The only thing you'd have to be careful about is that the shelves are not fixed to the arms that hold them, so a good bump could upend everything. So, maybe not the best choicein a room used by children or a large rambunctious dog - although I suppose you could glue the shelves down. ... show more

I really like this shelving unit! Very minimalist, looks clean, has channels for the cables along the back. It went together pretty easy, comes with 4 large screws about 3” long that are installed in a row vertically, it definitely won’t come out of the wall. The only weakness is the V shaped arms - theyre aluminum and connect at a single point to the frame. They would probably bend if you left something heavy on there too long. They mention a 17.5 lb weight limit but that’s probably for the whole thing. I wouldn’t leave more than half that weight on any one shelf. The spacing is perfect, I actually fit my HP printer/scanner on the bottom shelf with the top one at maximum safe height. Top shelf is my router and modem. The bottom shelf did noticibly flex when I put the printer on it but it will hold just fine, I just won’t get anything any heavier that’s for sure! ... show more
