This is a great alarm clock! It is pretty cute, and not too big so it does not take up much space on a nightstand. The sunrise light is very helpful, because it can help wake you up in a much calmer way than just a loud beeping like many other alarm clocks. The media could not be loaded. The gradually brightening light mimics a sunrise, except you get to choose the color and the length of the sunrise. If you want to get up at 7am, for example, you set the alarm for 7 and then select the length of the sunrise: if you choose a 30 minute sunrise, the light will start at 6:30 and gradually brighten over that 30 minutes. At 7, it will be the brightest and the sound will go off (you can choose various sounds of bells, chimes, beeps, birds singing, or music, or no sound at all). It also has a sunset option by pressing Sleep Timer and selecting a number of minutes and the light will gradually dim over that time. It’s very easy to use; just plug it in (it comes with a USB cord and wall adapter), set the time and your alarm choices. It has a manual and a quick start guide. This wake up light is great for kids and they are loving it. This is well made which resembles to generate the sunrise and with soothing sounds. The color and brightness of the light would slowly change before the wake up which is very innovative. This alarm clock has variety of sounds to choose from which is really cool to have. The brightness of the light is adjustable and it can be configured to have auto shut off as well.     • Wonderful alarm clock for difficult risers
Clock This is a cute clock and seems especially designed for the groggy style of sleeper that has trouble waking up. The combination of sound and light makes a difference. Setting up the clock is reasonably straightforward following the instructions. Surprisingly, I only had to change the hour from a 5 to a 4 – implying there is an internal battery power. I say implying, but I cannot figure out where it is, or how to change it if needs be. I’m guessing that the internal battery is charged when the clock is plugged in. There are several sounds to select from as a wake-up alarm. From classically annoying to soft and pleasing music, to nature sounds – whatever the sleeper needs. On the light simulation, this is where I ran into a hitch. For the life of me, I’ve followed the instructions, and I cannot change the light color to any other color besides the one set. It’s set to a red. The bottom button does not seem to be turning on the light, nor allowing me to change the light selection. I guess we are stuck on red. In spite of the non-changing color, it still works as designed and I give it high marks. ... show more
