I purchased 4 of their shades. They were delivered on Sep 25th, we tested them and they were fine but we didn't install them until we got back from our trip on Dec 4th. And to our surprise, two of them fell apart after just being on our windows for a month and a half. We heard a loud noise and we found them on the floor. The film dettached from the plastic bar. It was like the glue holding them wasn't strong enough and that's not right. Besides the suction cups not sticking to the windows properly either. We're not gonna paid for an item just to last a month and a half. Contacted the seller and Irine Wore told me to deal with Amazon. Terrible product and even worse customer service. ... show more

These work perfectly for what I needed. However, one of the clips broke on my first use, making one of the two shades I bought, completely useless. These come with no instructions, which is fine - they're not hard to figure out, but the spring-loaded tension on the recoil is pretty powerful. On the first use, I unhooked the shade and it flew up, hitting the top and breaking the clip. BE CAREFUL when you disconnect the shade from the hook that holds the metal bar! Used on patio doors , while still allowing plants to get sunlight. Thermometer at window read 96°, but room thermometer halfway in room was only 84°. Even when window read 104, room was still 84 ! Some of the suction cups will not continue to stick. Had to reattach some of the suction pieces as they had come away form the window. Using the blinds at work and put them up yesterday. Came in this morning and two of the blinds had come totally off the roller at some point during the the night. They were still sticky so we attempted to repair them and used some scotch tape to secure. We are not using them to rollup and down and just need them to be placed and left alone. If we were going to raise them up and down daily they are not made well enough for that. Would be nice to have additional suction cups mailed for the ones that are not working. Soon as I got my window shades I put them on my storm door because it takes two to cover the door and they work great. It blocks the sun just right and you can't see in the house but you can see people outside, that's good privacy. There was no suction cups popping off and I have had the shades up for 3 days since, I love the product!! ... show more
