I thought it was broken, then I tried another and was like, oh it just doesn't like fat people. So I got the TICKR Fit as well & that seemed to work. The reason this monitor and the other chest strap monitor was reading high, was because I had AFiB and was heading towards a stroke. I wish these HR strap manufacturers knew that, and if/when they did they document it other than, replace your battery or get a new band. Wahoo is freaking amazing, they worked with me through the issues that were no fault of their own. But seriously, if your chest strap starts going crazy high and a battery or band doesn't fix it, see your doctor or get a stethoscope and listen to your heart, you could have AFiB. Not totally cured of my AFiB, but it's been shocked back in to normal rhythm and will start the permanent fix at the end of summer. My HR monitors work now :) Well, the optical heart rate sensors at least remind me from time-to-time I need to chill, my blood pressure is getting up there! :D ... show more

So I purchased this a year ago when I bought my Wahoo Kickr Bike. I've always used Garmin HR, but I figured, wth, let's try it! Well, it had me changing the battery fairly quickly and kept disconnecting during my rides. Sometimes it would get stuck and get inconsistent and now it has stopped working altogether!! I'm very dissatisfied and disappointed!! This needs some work and I'm going back to my Garmin HR monitor! Update: I contacted Wahoo and told them about my experience with this HR. They asked all my info and said they'll be sending another one. That's valuable customer service! I have to increase to 4 stars! ... show more

I bought this for my DDPY yoga workouts. I sometimes have to wait a few seconds for the monitor to connect to the app, but for the most part it does ok. Sometimes there is a slight discrepancy between it and my watch, and I have never stopped to verify which one was accurate. For the most part it seems to do the job I need it do. I had a previous version that died after only a 4 or 5 months of use, so hopefully this version will last longer. ... show more
