Love this tracker, I know some others are more of a smart watch thing but I love it because it is so simple. I think I got it too wet once and I could not get it to reset but then a big update came along and that did the trick. You have to put the water lock on if you are going into the water with it, if you remember to do that then it really is waterproof. It is the best value I found for a tracker that can simply be about weight loss and other metrics if you are into that but my girlfriend and I got these and compete to have the best cal in to cal out ratio which it tracks in live time, the food log is very easy to follow and has honestly been the biggest win for us to tie the working out part of getting fit with the food part and seeing it in real numbers hour by hour. Highly recommend because of how easy the fit bit app works with it. The other watches just don’t give you the same kind of metrics that you see your fitness journey with food and exercise the same way. We discovered what times and activities and eating patterns caused us to get ahead or behind and not all were obvious. I’ve always had good things to say about Fitbits and the only thing that disappointed me about this one is that it’s supposed to count stairs climbed but that feature doesn’t work. I restarted it and that didn’t fix the problem but oh well; I’m satisfied with everything else. I don’t need anything fancy so this meets my needs just fine. I love how slim it is. I was mostly looking to count my steps and track my heart rate and this does just that. I like to be mindful of how much I’m moving around because I need to lose weight and this helps with that. I also like to track my walks. The different watch faces are fun. One feature I like is the sleep mode where it won’t light up when you move your wrist so it still tracks your sleep but you don’t get bothered by the light when you’re trying to get to sleep. I also like that it estimates your calories burned and you can sync that info with different food tracking apps. I got this FitBit to replace another tracker I had that didn't connect with any of the fitness programs I use. It has good reviews so I decided to take a chance. I was looking for a simple tracker, so not all the bells and whistles. I like the color and size of this device. The battery lasted for at least a week of constant use. I only plugged it in because there was an update that needed to be installed (it tells you to connect it to the charger during this process). At that point it was around 40%, but was fully charged within an hour (probably much less actually, but I wasn't paying attention so didn't notice when it was charged). You can set goals within the app, like steps per day, water consumption, weight...so many ways to customize. I haven't really poked around and truly personalized everything yet, but I like being able to track my activity. It makes me more aware and purposeful in my effort to incorporate more activity into my life. I get little dopamine hits when I meet my goal. We had about 5 different fitbit charge versions in our family and all of them had one or the other issues. Not this inspire version though. It has been pretty flawless and love the long battery life.

I wasn't sure I would like this as a replacement for the band I have been wearing for several years, so I wanted to wait to review it. I've had this for a few weeks and it was easy to set up. I have played around with different settings and set it up to receive notifications from my phone apps. I like being able to quickly choose a physical activity and start my timer. Overall, I love it and the small size. I spoke about how much I liked it so much that my friend purchased one. I've only had to charge it twice since I started wearing it and it charges very quickly.
