The rich lather helps clean dirty coats and other environmental residue. Since our shampoo is easy to clean, it leaves your dog’s coat looking clean, silky, and smooth. Our plant derived ingredients make our shampoo the choice for owners who want to avoid harsh chemicals for their dog and themselves. Our shampoo is PEG-80 free, alcohol free, paraben free, and pH balanced. Our 64 oz size and concentrated formula allows for up to 70% more baths than other leading brands. While there are no harmful chemicals in our pet products, some pets are sensitive to certain plant oils used in our products. Wahl strongly recommend talking to your vet and doing a small spot test on your pet at least 24 hours before using any new product. Tried horse and mane shampoo on my mini poodle and it made him super itchy, i ordered this, lathered him up and let him soak for about 5 minutes , rinsed, not itchy at all now. Used again after a trip to Huntington Beach dog beach too. Great price for this large size jug,not the easiest to pour but great value. I bought this maybe a year ago, and was put away in the hot she-shed, took it out this last time I washed the golden doodles, and was truly impressed! Smells like it was never neglected under the shed’s heat! It is foamy, seems to be truly cleaning the dog, and smells fantastic! I have two dogs that do not shed. I work hard to maintain their coats, but over time they still get super thick. I also have two dogs (the same dogs) that love getting dirty and revel in getting muddy paws to romp around the house. Yes, I have a doggy door. Yes, I let them go outside in the rain (most of the time). No, I don't feel any shame about it. I only bathe my dogs about once every 2 months, but depending on the time of year, I'm washing their paws once or twice a week (especially when precipitating). Having ADHD, I find it hard to commit to products unless I LOVE THEM beyond a shadow of doubt. I've tried many a dog shampoo looking for the one that stops me in my tracks. Most of them I didn't like because of the lack of suds, thin formula, weird chemically smells, squirters broke immediately, etc. I initially got a bottle of this shampoo at an outlet store, and found it to be delightful! My big dog (97 pound Bouvier) is ESPECIALLY thick, and he laughed at most shampoos, to where I would find clumps of dirt still on his belly or deep within his paw pads even after really getting in there, so to speak, and scrubbing those spots. This shampoo, on the other hand, is DELIGHTFULLY thick and suds up so nicely. I can get a handful and it actually wash a whole leg instead of getting a handful and only getting through to his knee before having to refuel. It smells great, especially after my dogs are washed and dried off, and like the description says, it really does help with itching. Both of my dogs deal with seasonal allergies, and when my little dog (16 pound Bichon) starts chewing at her paws relentlessly, I pop her some allergy medication and wash her paws off, and the combination of those two things has been more effective than just the allergy medication alone. I bought this in bulk because I loved it so much - and I plan on buying it again once I run out. It is definitely my "forever dog shampoo" so long as it's produced. :) ... show more

This soup has no smell but get the pup clean and lathers so nicely . Wish it came with a pump yo dispense. Leaves the coat looking great and soft .

This shampoo works great. It seems to get my dog very clean, but the best part is the smell. It smells really good and the scent lasted about 2weeks, which was amazing. I’ve never found a shampoo that the scent lasted so long. It’s nice to feel, especially because of what a pain to bath her is, like the dog is clean for more than just a day! ... show more

I have two medium size dogs. One is more like a lhasa mix, the other is a poodle. Using a small amount mixed with water cleans both of them. Their hair drys soft, no naps and they smell amazing! The poodle will attempt to roll on poop during walks…she always had a smell to her. After using this…she is now aloud the sit next to me. ... show more
