I bought this for a road trip and it works great. I just plug it in the evening before we are going to use it so it can cool down. I packed it in the morning and took it to the car each day. Kept everything nice and cold. I recommend buying the adapter so you can plug it into the wall to cool up ahead of time. I was surprised as to how much it actually fit. It held quite a bit of food and drinks and was the perfect size for two peopIe to use for drinks and snacks for our road trip each day. It fit in the back seat of my Jeep perfect.     • Died 2x within 6 months
We bought it in May for other half to use during his work shift (he’s a chip hauler). The unit died at 3.5 - 4 months or so turned out the plug died. We got a replacement plug and it didn’t even last 6 weeks. So this unit isn’t advised to use as a “lunch work cooler” as it can’t handle the strain of running for 12 - 14 hours a day 5 days a week. He would actually unplug it on most days after he finished the last of his lunch which was after about 8-10 hrs. We are on look out for a new option … hoping it lasts longer then this one did for the price we paid for it. ... show more

    • This cooler filled our needs for a recent road trip.
The cooler is just the right size for the 2 of us for several cans of drinks and snacks that need refrigeration. Liked the curve in the lid that allowed for taller bottles or just piling things a little higher than the sides. And most importantly, no ice or ice packs to deal with. It kept our items cold and got the A/C adapter in case we needed it. Yes, there is a little noise from the fan and it kept things cold in an air conditioned car, but not sure how it would work if it had to run in an environment with higher heat. ... show more

    • Very happy with performance for the cost.
Much better than expected, this was plugged in almost continuously for 10 days, between ac power, battery power and car power. It kept things cold, even in the blistering hot car parked all day ( on a portable battery pack power ). I had a thermometer inside and it stayed less than 48 in the hot car all day and often down to high 30's when driving or overnight in the hotel room. We did cover most of it with a thick blanket when it was in the hot car. P.S. I would not trust perishable foods in it for long. ... show more

    • A good portable unit for food and drinks
I needed it to keep medicine at a certain temperature. Unfortunately that did not work for me. I might feel better if there was a temperature control knob so I could lower the temperature if needed. I had to return it. It did a good job for food and drinks.

It's a decent enough mini fridge. It holds more than you think. I just wish it had a back up battery or a way to plug it in, in a house, not just the car.
