  • Works as advertised. Make sure you secure it to something solid, it's very heavy.
Style: Arm
I've been using this for several months at a standing desk. I'm a full time illustrator and animator and it's very convenient to be able to reposition the Wacom Cintiq Pro as needed when I'm shifting back and forth between drawing and mouse/keyboard use. I didn't have any problems installing. Take your time - it's not obvious when you first take it out of the package exactly how all the hinges function - it kind of seems like there aren't enough hinges for full mobility - but there are. It feels like the main hinge doesn't' bend - that's because it has a strong spring inside that counterbalances the weight of the monitor. As soon as you put the monitor on, it will bend easily. Just install it as instructed and then you'll adjust the tension on the spring until it stays in place when you move it and you'll be good to go. Because my standing desk is cobbled together from a folding table and some scrap wood, it's not very stable. I ended up building a mounting bracket directly into the wall studs so that everything would be secure and it's working fine. ... show more

  • Works great! Exactly what I needed
Style: Arm
I use a large 55" 4k screen as my main monitor on my desk, giving me no extra room to have the cintiq to sit on top of my desk. With the flex arm, I can have the cintiq Pro 24 hanging off the side as a secondary display and easily pull it in to work on when I need it, while keeping the large 55" screen as my primary display. I've had no issues with sturdiness or "soft" screws. The arm works extremely well. My cat has jumped on the arm a few times and the thing doesn't wobble in the slightest. Using this on an Ikea desk, nothing fancy. Very happy with the purchase. Find the bad reviews very strange, given my experience with the arm. Maybe earlier batches had issues. ... show more

  • Easy to mount to desk, super sturdy build
Style: Arm
After buying my Cintiq Pro 24 I debated for a few weeks about if the flex arm would be right for me. I had a really inefficient setup that required a lot of awkward lifting and shuffling to get my Cintiq from where I was storing it (in the thin foam sleeve it was packaged in, turned around and propped between my heavy desk and wall to keep the cat off of it) to where I was using it (the bottom propped on the edge of my keyboard drawer with the legs propped on my desktop). I knew I wanted the flex arm, I was just really uncertain if there would be a way to rig it to my desk, which has a 4 inch verticle panel along the back. I contacted Wacom and it turns out they also didn't think there would be a way, and suggested I try to find an ergotron mount instead. After looking at photos of the desk mount, it turns out there IS A WAY TO MOUNT IT! Basically all I had to do was drill two holes in the back panel of my desk (well, really I had to drill 4 since the first two were too low) and buy two longer 14mm bolts (the included bolts are about 1/2inch, I ended up needing 1 1/2inch, definitely stick with a hex bolt too as the underside of a desk might be awkward to reach for a screwdriver) . I've included some photos of my rigged mount so if anyone is curious if their desk can accommodate the flex arm, it can! The flex arm is super sturdy and stable! I've heard a lot of people say theirs wobbles around but when I got mine set up I almost couldn't move any of the joints. Each joint has a hex bolt somewhere that can be used to tighten or loosen the joint and I had to loosen the vertical arm a substantial amount before I could drop the Cintiq down into my lap. For anyone curious, there is absolutely a tightness level that allows you the move the Cintiq from a stowed position to whatever drawing position you use without wobbling around. The flex arm is super stable, but also will need an equally stable desk; the mount weights a ton! I'm not knocking any stars off my review for the extra work to mount it because it was not an inconvenience to me and I truly believe you get what you pay for in quality. I know the price point isn't accessible to everyone but I stand by Wacom's products 100% and have for over a decade. If you want quality that lasts, spend the money. ... show more

  • Expensive, but worth every penny
Style: Arm
I need a clean desk, as an artist i use multiple mediums and i just dont have space for multiple areas or moving around to keep my motivation going. I chose this vs the base for my wacom cintiq pro 24, so i could keep my desk realestate, and still be able to use my tablet for work/fun/play then return it upright to use as a second 4k display or to use my desk space for my traditional hand mediums. So far the best investment to an already pricey device, without the hassle of matching vesa plates to other desk arms that cant hold the weight ... show more

  • What's not to like?
Style: Arm
I was torn between getting the Flex arm or the Ergo stand. I opted for the Flex arm because of its versatility and my lack of desk space. My fear with the Flex arm was that it would not support my heavy hand, but so far this has not been a problem. I am pleased with this purchase and would recommend it. ... show more

  • Well worth the money!
Style: Arm
I have used and played with many "arms" for devices and monitors and this thing is built WELL!!! Holds the Wacom Pro 24 like a champ and is super flexible. The clamp is VERY strong and has a very wide opening. REALLY impressed with the arm and tablet. As mentioned in Tablet review I suggest using Sleeve for all the cables, much cleaner. ... show more

  • Cintiq Pro 24 - Get the arm. It's expensive but worth it.
Style: Arm
This arm is great, and lets me move my Cintiq Pro 24" from a regular monitor position to a drawing position easily. We had Cintiq's at work without any arm and nobody liked it. If you get a Cintiq, you HAVE to get some kind of arm or stand. They're expensive but very important to get the most out of your investment. ... show more
