I filled up one of the containers with water, put the lid on it, And held it upside down and shook it. NO LEAKS. 😀 I would buy from this company again. - - - Additional follow up. - - - I personally HATE it when consumers give POOR reviews for a product of this good but was damaged as part of shipping. Unless there is a specific reason, shipping damage should NOT be a product review. In this case, one of the lids was damaged in shipping. I sent the company an email explaining the situation and requesting that they replace it. I was pleasantly surprised by their customer service. It was timely. And their email back was not a standard “CANNED” response. They asked specific questions about what had happened. It was obvious that they wanted to know how to avoid this in the future. I wish I had tried these VTOPMART containers earlier. This is the third brand I have tried, and while the others have been satisfactory this brand has risen to the top in my estimate, I especially liked this rectangular container for use in my pantry. This horizontal rectangle shape supports easy access for scooping flours, etc. and the size easily easy contains say a 5lb bag of sugar/flour. The brand has plenty of sizes and shapes allowing you to order what you need or want without ordering large combo sets that don't have the sizes you need. They are also at a price point that beats the others providing a better value. It doesn't have all the colors that other brands might have, but it does have the sizes and shapes that you will want. Ordered this product after an invasion of the tiny ants that sometimes get in your kitchen. Had to throw away several boxes of cereal and decided that wasn’t going to happen again. Extremely impressed with the quality of these, heavy-duty and tight. Also really like the 4 scoops (with measurements) included. Finished out with a nice sticker collection w/pen, very helpful. I have many of this brand in many sizes and I really like them. They seem to seal well but when I put coffee in one of the I can really smell the coffee grounds all day. Not sure if that means a poor seal.

I bought these 4 storage containers for light and dark brown sugar, powered sugar and chocolate chips/nuts. You can fit a regular 2lb. bag PLUS half of another bag of each of the sugars per container. They also come with measuring cups and labels and a marker. In addition, I like to be able to reach in the containers to measure out the contents. (Don't like pouring out to measure.) These are what I was looking for, they're great! ... show more

I waited until ant season was in full swing before posting a review. I purchased these containers hoping to be able to keep ants and other pests out of sugar and flour. Every year we get an invasion of ants who seek out sources of sugar. I am happy to report that we have not had any ants get in, nor any other bugs into the flours and protein oatmeal mix. These containers are fairly large, not huge, but nice for sugar and flour. The tops are great though. They have a rubber seal, and snap closed on all 4 sides, with an airtight seal. I have arthritis in my hands, and the ones that you have to push the lids on to seal really make my hands ache. These come with 4 cool bonus scoops, 1 cup each. Those are very handy. And it also includes stick on labels, and a white pen to write with. The plastic material seems very sturdy, and the snap fit lids are easy to remove and replace.
