I am also impressed with the labels that were included and the marker because these labels can be erased, which is a bonus because sometimes I change up what is in the containers and don’t always want to put an additional sticker on. They do indeed hold a little bit more than a 5 pound bag of flour or sugar, which is what I’m using them for. These are solid containers, hard plastic, great lids that you snap shut, very nice extras included, measuring cups, marker and labels. You can't ask for much more. I will say I wish they were a little bigger, because when you have a big family there's more to store, but overall, I really like them. We bought an old farm house 18 months ago. We have these mice that come in and in one night, trash the place, then no sign of them for months (making it impossible to mitigate). I’ve never seen anything like it. Anyway, I lost some very expensive ingredients through Mickey’s ambush and bought these. They’re perfect! Great lid closure, just the right size for a 10 lb bag of sugar (flour will fit but needs to settle). My only suggestion for improvement would be to make a groove or handle of some sort. We have a low cabinet where I store these and they’re kind of hard to grab without getting down on your hands and knees (a house design problem more than a product design problem). ... show more

The little labels that come with it are great for organizing the pantry. I've bought these a couple of times and keep ordering more. With the different sizes I'm obsessed. I also just throw everything in the dishwasher with the heat setting off and they're fine. They seem to seal good. I've had no bugs get in. Just noticed weevils if I stored too long.
