I got it at first I was apprehensive because of the small size, but it holds a decent charge and is useful to have whenever I need to top up my phone while still being able to have it in case my battery dies. I drive out to a lot of out-of-the-way areas in my work truck so having this is a good piece of mind to make it a bit easier on myself. It works well on my Ford F250 and my Toyota Camry. I have a PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid). Its 12V battery has inadvertently drained a few times, so it seemed like a good idea to have a backup device to jump start. For full transparency, I have not actually needed to use this yet, and hope I don't need to. But I did attach it to the car battery anyway, and it detected that it was correctly attached. I am also very impressed by the case, which is a rigid material, yet compact enough to make it stow well. I am thinking of getting another for my other car. I researched many of these and this looks best for power and money. Has more cold cranking amps than standard jumpers. It sucks when you have a totally dead battery, some won't start. It's terrible. I have AAA, but sometimes they can take hours to jump you. Most times, there are many others in the very same boat with the very same cause. Dead batteries from the cold weather. I love this little battery jumper. My battery was beyond dead. I even tried to charge it overnight with a low voltage charger and it didn’t work. It had been sitting in the garage unused for quite some time. This little gadget is a powerhouse. It took a few tries, the battery was really dead, but it got my little car started. Used it on my daughters Honda pilot thing. I would say this unit is better than the smaller unit of the same brand, less thrilled about that one based on the performance of this one. This one did great for the Pilot i jumped however based on that i seriously doubt this thing will jump my Cummins, it may get me out of a pinch, maybe, if those batts are low, but with the intake heater and everything - i doubt this has the power. Had to use the "boost" on the pilot to get it going, and that battery still had some life, not completely dead. It did fine. Figure it will jump anything I own - except the Diesel. ... show more

I am so glad I came across this, it was a life saver. My RV Mercedes Diesel 2500 chassis sat all winter and when I went to start it, the battery was totally dead. I tried my trickle charger for days and I had no luck, it just didn't give it enough juice. And being where it was i had no way of jumping it. So when I came across this, it was my last hope before having to get my RV towed. I was a little skeptical at first, but now I am so thrilled that I tried it. I did have to jump it a couple times, but after that it's now running great and it worked like a charm. I will definitely be taking this with me everywhere.
