    • Comfortable, a bit overpriced.
I was surprised at how much of difference this made in my comfort level with the Oculus. The foam face cushion without this thing on soaks up little hairs and then jams them into my face and it's itchy as heck. This product prevents that and is also generally softer on your face than foam. It's also nice that you get two for hygiene and you can easily throw them in the washing machine. It also seems to help a bit with lens fogging and even light bleeding into the headset (a tiny bit). My only gripe with this product is at the current price of about $20, it's not an easy purchase to make and even after using it and seeing the benefits it still feels like I over-payed a bit.     • Here's how to decide if this product is for you or not:
Alright, I am going to help you decide if you should buy this or not. 1. Find a cotton t-shirt. Now put it on your face. Pretty comfortable, right? Not AMAZINGLY comfortable, but they make t-shirts out of cotton for a reason. So here's the million dollar question: is it MORE or LESS comfortable TO YOU than the foam on the Oculus? I personally found the Oculus foam itchy and mildly annoying. Other people love it. If it's worth $20 to you to have the cotton feel on your face rather than the foam feel, you should get this product. If not, don't. For me, it absolutely is. 2. I had no problem fitting this onto the Rift without any modification...the second time. The instructions are not great, and the first one (of the two it ships with) I ended up cutting to fit. They do fit, but after playing with the second one I realized I can fit them on without cutting it. My advice is to ignore the instructions and play with it until you get it to fit perfectly.     • Doesn’t fit Rift perfectly, but works ok.
Overall good quality product. Because of how it attaches to the Oculus Rift (via 2x elastic bands on front) i could not get the eyepiece to snap back in properly despite multiple adjustments. The eyepiece will go back with the cover on, but it does not latch, so it comes off when you remove the headset after play. Also, the nose piece simply goes around the edge of the eyepiece (no attachment or straps), so it comes loose. Basically, using this cover, the eyepiece easily slips off, making storage cumbersome. But, once you put it on and tighten the Rift straps, it simply works. This is why I dinged it a star since it doesn’t exactly fit. But it works and is comfortable. ... show more

    • Comfort but not hygienic, causes red marks after extended playing (20 minutes)
Very comfortable when wearing it. But after extended use it leave red marks on your face. When taking turns with the oculus is gross because the material absorbs the sweat, and when being the next person the use it, it’s very gross to have someone sweat touching your face. I’ve noised that the lenses also fog up more with this cover because it more bulky and hugs your face more not making a vent for air to come in and out. If your someone who uses the vr a lot and experially if you have other people in the house that use it, you have to wash the cover very often so that no one gets a eye infection from bacteria build up, which washing it one to two times a week can be a bit annoying, epessally if you have nothing else to wash with it and it’s in the washer and dryer all by it’s self.... it’s better just to spend the extra $9 more and get the leather pad instead because that you can quickly wipe down with a disinfectant wipe. I actually went to the VR website and purchased a $50 standard pack which includes 3 or 4 vegan leather replacement and another cloth material one which is the exact same one as this product. Now I would say, if you have kids then the cloth one would hug their faces better and the oculus won’t be as big on their head. I just ordered the leather pads so when I get them I’ll review them. But overall, if your solo and use this for yourself and/or don’t use the oculus often then this is the product for you. (My option) spend a little extra on the leather pad which is $9 more. And if you want a value for your money then spend $50 on the standard pack on VR Cover’s website. ... show more

    • Great for keeping the sweat off of you, but at a cost.
This product does give you 2 VR cloth face mask, but the price is a bit high at $19. I really love these as you can easily put them in the washer to clean them and keep them sanitized, but there is a small difficulty with installation. Around the nose part of the plastic insert for the rift there is nothing for the stretchy part of the face mask to grab onto other than the corner of the plastic insert, so if you put it on just the wrong way it tends to fall off. Once you wash these is is a bit difficult to put back onto the plastic insert because the creases that guide you to put it on fold inward or at weird angles. Overall I like it, just a bit high on price. More like $7.99 a piece would be fair. ... show more

    • Does fit Oculus Quest!! Can't VR without them! 5 STARS!
I bought these so that a face never touches my precious rift lol. I can tell you these made me a very happy gal! I am pretty obsessed with keeping my computer and gaming equipment fresh, clean and new so even though I wash my face before gaming to not transfer facial oils or make up onto the foam I wanted that extra bit just in case and these work beautifully!! They go on easy, wash up easily and I swap them out when ever I need to then wash the one I took off immediately so it is air dried before my next intense VR session lol I will be testing it out on my Oculus Go as well and if they fit I may pick up a few more! Love them!! **Update** I have been using these covers with my Oculus Quest and its a life saver, been working up a sweat several times a day playing Dance Central and without these things would for sure get stinky and gross with that much use. Now I have zero wait time for foam to dry, just pop a fresh cover on and play! I highly recommend! Just sucks that I can't get it on Amazon.ca and the Canadian cost is more than a moose lol ... show more
