  • This is a personal Pa for the singer songwritter
I got mine over a year ago and have written some hit song on it like, Hey Buddy Lower the Sound", "It Ain't Heavy It's My Vox", and "Acoustic Sound Renown". Vocals with it own reverb settings make it easy to match the guitar and balance for that natural warm tube sound. I if you want a good amp to use as a small pa get this and you won't be disappointed. ... show more

  • Wonderful gig amp
Love this amp for gigs. Its very light, but the sound quality is excellent. Its seems like its not as powerful as the fifty amp rating should be, but was more than adequate for a reasonably sized room. I do really regret Vox didn’t use the traditional grill cloth.

  • Light and Useful
Before anything else, I noticed the lacking of heft for this unit. It has various places in my apartment as a result.

  • Amazing Sound, Amazing Value
I played through one of these at church last Sunday and was flat out blown away. Ordered one online as soon as I got home. The thing is tiny and weighs almost nothing yet produces such a warm natural tone. And the controls allow for a wide range of tones and effects. I can't imagine a more ideal practice amp or for someone who plays out in small intimate settings. The mic input is perfect for that type of gig. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it's still brand new so I can't vouch for its durability. ... show more

  • The Phantom power on this amp is only rated for 15v, NOT the standard 24 or 48v.
It will not work with all condenser microphones, most of which are rated for 48v. Check the specs of the microphone you intend to use it with before purchasing.
