  • Small but mighty
Style: Manual Panel
I ordered the smallest one just bc I have a small apartment. Let me just say WOW this thing fits more than I expected and is also bigger that I thought. I’m in love!! I have a fully automatic portable washer and wanted a dryer too. For the price this thing is amazing. It’s easy and straightforward to use. Cleaning the lint trap isn’t as complicated as some other reviews acted. The spin and performance overall is amazing. The first use does have a plastic smell but halfway through that first cycle it smelled like laundry. But that’s just how new dryers are. Haven’t had any issues so far but will update if anything happens!!! ... show more

  • Cutest Dryer Ever
Style: Manual Panel
This is a perfect sized dryer for an apartment. Like a whisper, I barely hear it. It’s an electric dryer that takes the dampness out of sheets and towels I’ve already drip dried on a rack. I’m a bedding snob with soendy silk bamboo sheets so this little dryer gives just enough heat, not too much. Don’t expect a quick hot dryer. I add a dry towel to catch extra moisture in clothes. It’s so easy to assemble, and they include a longer dryer vent hose than I thought I’d get to discreetly hang out a window ledge. I’m used to hanging clothes out in the sun to dry, but with heavy fog and rainy days coming, this is lovely. This will be handy for dorms and tiny homes. ... show more

  • It does the job
Style: Manual Panel
Is small, easy to handle and move, and super quiet, if you live in an apartment it wont bother any neigborh. Takes 120 minutes to dry a load. Not really sure to keep it but have to understand that its an Electric SMALL 850W DRYER, cant expect to work as an large GAS one so its ok. It does the job

  • This is apartment living done right

First off, this little dryer is about the cutest little appliance I've ever seen. Don't let its small size and cute appearance fool you though, this little dryer packs a wallop. Since purchasing the dryer, I no longer need to go to the laundromat to launder clothes. I was previously just drying my clothes there as I've had one of those plastic washer/spinner combos for several months now. This little dryer will fit a good sized load too, and after a spin cycle in my washer, only needs about 30 minutes to dry. This dryer has two cycles, heated and air dry. To get hotter heat you are required to put the dryer at maximum time (2 hours) to get a hot burst for the first 20 minutes, then it lowers to warm (which is still plenty hot to fluff clothes, btw) and then cooler before shutting off. I'm actually surprised at how warm it gets considering it runs off of standard power. You will need to purchase an inside lint-trap vent kit unless you're running the hose out of the window (this dryer is ridiculously light, you can pretty easily move it around) the one in my picture cost about $15. It'll run about $40 at the hardware store. This thing will dry a pretty good sized load too. I'm a bigger guy so I have bigger clothes. And this thing handles it all. I will say that if you want your clothes wrinkle free (like my work shirts for example) you'll need to dry in smaller loads. This thing has a huge drum for it's size but it's skinny, so you'll need to maximize the space for wrinkle-free. That being said. I can pop a work shirt in for 20 minutes while I'm in the shower and fluff the wrinkles out, so it does work in this capacity. I'm also betting I can dry sheets in this dryer. It is not heavy duty enough (or big enough) for pillows and comforters (it might handle small throw blankets). So I'll still need to visit the laundromat to wash bedding (you're technically supposed to use industrial machines for bedding anyway, so it's not unexpected). The lint trap is a big wheel on the back. You will need to remove it (it's a screw lock, just unscrew it) inside is a fine mesh filter and a dense cotton filter to trap finer lint. The mesh is easy to clean, you'll likely need a brush over time to clean the cotton (I'll bet I'll need to find and cut a disc of the same material within a year to keep the dryer running like new) There is also an air-intake vent inside the door that has a filter that should be checked and cleaned monthly. Maintenance aside this little dryer has changed my life. I love it. ... show more

  • Small Load Wonder
Style: Manual Panel
I just started using this yesterday. I have a Midea portable washing machine 1.6 cu.ft.Top Loading Washing and the way I've figured it is that half loads in that machine will be the maximum amount that this dryer can accommodate. I was able to find a 3" to 4" converter to connect the indoor vent and hook up was quick and easy. I have found that it is more time efficient to turn the dial to the red area between 120 to 200 minutes as it does seem to be hotter in that range vs the lower orange/yellow time ranges. Plus, I don't have to deal with the built in cool down time in the lower time range. If I want to run a 1 hour cycle, I just set the dial to 180 minutes and stop it at 120 minutes so it will be hot the whole time. The following sized loads took an hour each to dry: 1) 4 sweatshirts (mens medium/large), 2) about 12 washcloths/dishrags, 6 pairs of cotton socks, 4 pairs of flannel boxer shorts and 2 tee shirts, 3) 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, 6 dishrags/washcloths. Right now I am drying a smaller load of 3 thermal tops with a tee shirt. They came out bone dry after an hour. In case you are wondering about sheets (the main reason I got this machine), a single queen size sheet will fit. I try to not fill the drum more than about half full to allow for efficient tumbling and drying. I could stuff the other sheet in but it wouldn't dry very well. BTW, I run 2 spin cycles after each load to extract more water from the clothes. I have this on top of my refrigerator and it fits perfectly. The room it is in is a combo living/dining/kitchen/office multipurpose room. It did get a little bit warm when running this when the oven was on but otherwise it doesn't seem to heat up the room too much. Humidity went from 30 to 50% which is fine in the wintertime. In the warmer months I plan to vent it out the window. If you don't mind doing smaller loads more often and are limited on space this could be what you are looking for if you want to skip the laundromat. Update: this is my third week of using the dryer and I'm getting the hang of optimal load size and what temp range and time to use. Biggest challenges so far are: pants (at least corduroy) come out wrinkled (even when dried alone), only 1 queen size sheet fits so it takes 2-3 hours to dry the whole set. When I get the load/temp and time just right the clothes come out beautifully. My goal is to dry the loads in an hour. This is a pretty amazing little thing. You just have to be willing to accept the size limitation but I am working around it. I find it's actually easier and faster to keep up with my laundry by doing smaller loads more often. If you want a dryer but are very space (and outlet) challenged I recommend seriously considering this product. Of course, this is really best suited for a single person, perhaps a couple without children. Update 3/8/15: I've been using the dryer for 2 months and have come to love it. I have figured out the right size load/temp settings to dry the loads within an hour (I do two extra spin cycles on my portable washer to reduce drying time). I typically do several small loads a week but I've been sick and let it pile up. No problem! By the time the first load dries, the second load of wash is ready to go in the dryer. Before the dryer I was doing wash all day long on one of the weekend days but no more. I'll get through the 4 loads I have today in a few hours. Pants are still problematic as they come out too wrinkled (I hate ironing) but I spray them with wrinkle releaser and they come out looking pretty good. Sheets still take several hours as you can only do 1 queen sheet at a time but it so so worth it to not have to trudge out in the snow and sub freezing temps to go to the laundromat just to dry a few things.. The best part is I really haven't noticed an increase in my electric bill! People have complained about cleaning the lint filter. I always clean the lint filter after every load in any dryer I've had. This one needs an extra step or two but it's no biggie. I know cleaning the lint filter helps it dry more efficiently and that's what I am after. I have included front and side views (side view with indoor vent kit attached), the lint filter and an example of a load that I dried in an hour. Update 11/24/16: A little before the 1 year warranty was up the dryer started making a scraping noise. Eventually I notice a white piece of felt protruding from the drum. I contacted the company after the warranty was up (my fault) and was told it was the felt that cushions the dryer drum. In all honesty, my interactions with the company were very pleasant. The problem is that it could take as long as 2 months to get the felt from them at 18.00 or buy another drum with the felt for 60.00. Just wanted to let people know that there could be some issues if you need a replacement part. I know this makes me hesitant to purchase from them again despite their helpful service. ... show more
