This backpack looks slim and compact, but holds a lot of stuff! I like that it has many compartments and pockets to help you stay organized. The outside of the backpack has 2 water bottle holders (easily fits 24 oz bottles) and a small zippered compartment that could hold a phone and/or wallet. The first larger zippered compartment contains a large pocket, 2 smaller pockets, and 2 pen slots, along with a key ring. The next zippered compartment (the main compartment) has 2 pouches and access to the usb slot. The back compartment has a laptop slot. I am pleased with the Voova Travel Laptop Backpack, Business Work Laptop Backpack for Women & Men with USB Charging Port, Waterproof Slim Durable College Computer Bag Fits 15.6 Inch Laptops and Notebook, Black. I used this backpack as my personal item for a trip that included flights on two different airlines. It fit perfectly under the seat in front of me and overall it worked really well as a carry on and a day to day backpack. I was pleasantly surprised at how much it held, including a camera and two lenses, especially since I thought it looked small when I received it. The backpack really is nicely compact yet spacious (please note the dimensions to make your own decision on the overall size). We anticipated rain on this trip, but it didn't rain, so I cannot comment on the water-resistant feature. I also opted to put disposable water bottles in each side pocket (nothing wider fits) so I didn't run a phone charging cable through that compartment. Plus, I didn't trust my phone to be secure in the side mesh holder which seems perfect for a standard size water bottle. I will also note that the backpack did not have an odor upon receipt. The bag holds its shape well so it will stand on its own when placed on the ground. I will definitely use this again when my larger backpack is not warranted. I would recommend. ... show more

I really like this backpack for days when I don't have to carry so much to the office. There's plenty of room for smaller laptops and tablets, as well as other items such as water bottle, notepad or portfolio, a light lunch, and emergency medications. I wouldn't recommend it for carrying multiple laptops, as there is only one protective sleeve, and large machines will not fit (my 15.6" Lenovo fits, my 17.3" HP does not). It is also probably not a great college backpack if you have a lot of books to carry (do college students still use physical books?). One of the best features is the deep front pocket, which I use to keep important accessories on-hand. Behind that is a zippered pouch with key clip and several internal pockets for keeping pens and things organized. The zipper pulls are powder coated black to match the fabric for a sleek look, and the straps are very comfortable. ... show more

This is a minimalist and simple backpack designed for everyday carry. It is a good option for students, professionals, or anyone who needs a backpack for daily use. Pros: The material feels really durable and weather resistant: I feel that it can withstand daily wear and tear and will protect your belongings from the elements. Comfortable to carry: The backpack has a well-padded shoulder strap system and a breathable back panel. It does not have a sternum strap or a hip belt, but that means less straps to get caught on stuff. I love those features while hiking, but not necessarily while traveling as I am constantly removing and putting my backpack on and off. Organized: The backpack has a well-organized interior with a variety of pockets for storing your gear. There is a dedicated laptop compartment that can fit up to a 16-inch laptop, a tablet sleeve, and several other pockets for smaller items. Cons: The main issue I have with this backpack is the lack of more zippered internal pockets. It has one large zippered area in the front, but it would be nice to have a few more segregated and secure areas within the backpack. Stretchy pockets: The pockets on the sides of the backpack are made from a stretchy mesh material that are really tight and hard to easily slip my water bottle into. Maybe after time, these will conform. Overall: The Voova travel backpack is a well-made backpack that is perfect for everyday carry. It is comfortable to wear, organized, and weather resistant. . However, it is a bit on the smaller side and doesn't offer a lot of extra expandability. If you are looking for a larger backpack with more storage compartments, there are other backpacks on the market that may be a better fit for you. ... show more
