I haven't tried the charger cos I don't have a need for it. But this bag works great for college. I am a nursing student and have lots to carry and it fits it all. I also like the little pockets on the inside. One for my laptop, one for my calculator, and one for my kindle. Works great! I get tons of compliments on it as well and it's super durable and waterproof (and pee proof for those of you with pets) ... show more

I bought this backpack because I got bored of my original backpack and I wanted something more colorful! The colors and designs are very pretty. Traveling: I wouldn’t recommend this bag for travel because it is kinda small, the zippers probably wouldn’t be able to take much “wear and tear” and the side pockets for water bottles can barely hold a 9 inch circumference bottle of water so be aware of that. Water resistance: I gave it a 5 star only because when it rains water didn’t get in my bag, but it doesn’t rain that much and I’m not in the elements so I would look at other comments for water resistance. Durability: So I’ve had this bag for less than a month and it hasn’t broken yet, so I’m pretty pleased with that. I’m also not being rough with my bag and I open it gently (unlike some people I know). Other things I have to say: so I haven’t really tested this or not but I feel like it’s a waist of time and power to plug a battery inside of your bag for the cord outside. I love the idea, but it’s traveling a lot farther and I feel like it’s a waist of time. Cool idea, but kinda useless in my opinion. Overview of the bag: as long as you’re not throwing the bag around like a complete fool or doing your monthly hike up Mount Everest, it’s a decent backpack. Be gentle with it and you should be fine. I bought this for a recent trip. I was concerned that it would be bigger than I wanted. But I'd say it was just right. Held my laptop, couple extra clothing items and a little purse so I wouldn't have too many carry-ons. The computer is well-protected within the padded dividers.
