This TV was exactly what I needed to sit on my office desk next to my laptop. Setup was easy and quick, the user interface is well thought out with all applications and channels in a user friendly easy to navigate home screen. The picture is bright and clear which is due to the full array led backlighting. The sound isn't bad considering the small speaker sizes, but space is tight on a small TV for speakers. I bought the 27 inch tv to sit on my desk in my bedroom while using my laptop. I bought a tv riser to better view the tv and use my laptop at the same time. The screen size doesn’t hurt my eyes. The set up took longer than I expected. The back of the tv comes with 2 hdmi ports, audio ports and I think a usb port. It also has an antenna port if you want to connect it to cable. Since this is a 2022 model, I should have made sure to update it to the most recent update. It updated as soon as I plugged it in, but it updated 3 more times while trying to connect the cable cord. It wouldn’t accept all of my cable channels after the first update. On the third update, it found my local channels and loaded them in the Vizio free watch app. Connecting to the stream apps I regularly use was easy. The smart tv connected to my WiFi easily. The remote is responsive without delay. The picture quality of the shows I’ve streamed are very clear. Sitting at my desk the volume is clear. Watching from my bed. I have to turn up the volume to hear. This size tv doesn’t come with blue tooth connection for speakers, but you could use one of the hdmi ports for that. I recently used chromecast from my computer to watch a movie and the picture quality was clear. I also used Chromecast to look at email from my laptop. It was okay but this tv is better suited for watching movies or shows. I also airplay from my iPhone to watch espn on my smart tv and it connected easily once I put my phone on the same WiFi name as my tv. The picture quality was in high definition. If you are having issues with the internet connecting or not loading your channels, you can do a hard reset by turning off the tv, unplugging it, and hold down the power button for 30 seconds then replugging the tv and turning it back on. ... show more

    • Not a bad little TV!

For the price, this TV is great. The sound? It's OK... sufficient. Want better, get a sound bar. The picture? Actually very colorful and clean. Really nice. The "smart" device? It's an Android TV, so has access to the Google Play store and works pretty well. You can use ChromeCast directly to the TV. Although I have had the ESPN crash the entire TV a few times. And this interface can definitely be slow at times. To be expected -- you're usually going to get an underpowered streaming device in a more inexpensive TV. I still use the smart features, but your best bet might just be to throw a good streaming device on this one and ignore the built in smart features.     • Exceeded My Expectations in Every Way

Purchased this TV during the 2023 holiday season on sale. With the cost saving I included the 2 year warranty as I am not someone who enjoys replacing things constantly beyond the original manufacturer’s warranty. We also have a competitor’s tv in OLED and a larger format in our home. I prefaced these detail in my review because I went into purchasing this item as a bedroom tv with the expectation that the image quality and the tv’s operating system would be disappointing compared to our competitors brand OLED television; boy was I wrong. If the image quality of this tv was the only thing I could shared positive reviews about I would be doing an injustice to the really well engineered user experience this television accomplishes. As someone who has worked in the field of IT that supports knowledge and learning end-user experiences, I can say first hand that Vizio did their homework to give this SmartTV its Smarts with intuitive and intelligent software features in the TV and the App that works seamless together. Now about the image quality. It is clear from the initial setup, the demo and ultimately the software update of the tv’s user interface that this tv’s processor, for the cost, does an exceptional job at image reproduction. The 1080p Full Array LED is balanced, clear without appearing overly saturated and glossy which differs from OLED. I think for people who prefer a more balanced image reproduction that feels a bit more natural and not as “processed”, this Vizio’s full HD engineering provides an experience that delivers on this description. I have not yet fully tested my Switch experience on this television beyond toggling a few games back and forth in the Switch UI and playing a few YouTube videos and some Hulu programming. So far, again, I am impressed. Having purchased this tv only based on the holiday sale price and reading a few reviews of other shoppers for this price, this television far exceeded everything I expected in a SmartTV at this price point. If you are shopping for a value driven over achieving SmartTV that isn’t 4K or OLED, this is the one I would recommend. ... show more
