Most golfers have great trouble with chip shots especially those I golf with. Most use a wedge somewhere in the 50-60 degree range, With regular wedges it is far too easy to chunk most chips. The PGA and LPGA Pros make chipping look easy but for most of us chips are not easy. This "chipper" chunks fewer shots than regular wedges so it definitely can improve your score. The weighting is especially good. A previous chipper of the same design was way too light in head weight so I would tend to overhit or underhit. This chipper feels much more like it is the correct weighting and it feels like a golf club. ... show more

I really like the weight and design of this club. It has made a tremendous improvement on chipping up on the greens. Great value for the money. I will keep this club in my bag for sure.

    • Good for certain situations
This club is good for situations where the roll out can be 2-3 times the carry. It's impossible to stop short unless it's into a steep hill. For me the sweet spot is 15-45 yd shots where I have a lot of green to work with. Difficult to control shorter shots because the swing path has to be so limited. Easy to end up further away than where you started. Also, the club is not well balanced and wants to fall open. Have to consciously control the face alignment. The club is very good in the sweet spot and for many non-single digit handicappers will be much more accurate than any other club. Still need a wedge for the other situations. ... show more
