    • A great TV at a great price

Short version: I love our new TCL TV! Long version: I was worried that a $375 TV would leave me with some buyer's remorse, but nope! I'm quite pleased with it. My only complaint is that the Google TV startup was slow. Fortunately there's a setting, easily accessible via the "settings" gear on the remote, to have the TV start up with whatever input it last used, and that speeds the TV power-on cycle significantly. Speaking of settings, it's delightful to finally have a TV that gives me proper control over the picture without needing to install an app on my phone. The HDMI Audio Return Channel worked straightaway, no issues, but we did have to make sure that our sound system was plugged into HDMI 3. We're not using the built-in apps on the TCL. We have an external ROKU and a PC plugged into HDMI 1 and 2, so we already have what we need without those apps. In summary: assuming it doesn't suddenly burn out or explode or otherwise cease to work, it's a *fantastic* deal for $375. It's still day one, so that jury won't return for a while. It's possible that I'm just happy to not be dealing with our old Vizio TV anymore. ... show more

The remote that comes with the TV sucks and is super long and does not light up but the fire stick is great. I also would have liked to have had a couple handles at the top of the rear panel to assist in hanging the TV. There is no place to put your hands to carefully move the screen. Other than that the picture quality is great compared to my old HDR tv and the sound is quite good for movies without a sound bar. This is a very quick setup but it does ask you to go and download another app for complete setup. I prefer not to have to add more apps to the phone for every device I use and buy. It is easily moved by 2 people-me and my Wife mounted this TV ourselves. I can say also that this TV was the same price as a local seller but Amazon was able to get the TV delivered faster than a local supplier. ... show more

I had been shopping for a new TV for several months, I had a long wishlist but my TV was still working okay - So I kept trying to save more money to get EVERYTHING on my list (I mean who doesn’t want everything on their list, right?).. Well then one day my TV just wouldn’t turn on again! UGGH then I was forced into a corner BEFORE I was actually ready to buy - But it was shortly before a holiday so I knew there would be sales coming up! After scouring the sales and comparing everything I settled on this Model. This TV is a QLED with upscaling. Its a 4K TV with DOLBY ATMOS & other DOLBY formats as well as the other HDR Pro etc. It also has the ability to change the screen formatting for Cinematic experience or other screen viewing settings! You can choose various Audio formats as well from voice heavy to cinematic.The picture quality is AMAZING! It os so clear & crisp and from every angle! Gone are the days of having to be directly in front of the TV to habe a good viewing experience!! It is a GOOGLE TV which I have never had before, but I don’t mind it.. it guides you through the setup - AND I use Firesticks anyway - So it doesn’t matter much! I DO HOWEVER love the LIVE TV function better on the native TV than the Firestick so I use that regularly. Also the TV does have the ability to download & run all of your favorite apps like Hulu, Netflix , Prime, Max, Disney+, etc — I just didn’t because I was already signed in to them all on the Stick so it was just plug and play! This TV is a FANTASTIC VALUE for the Money paid! I am extremely HAPPY with this TV and even HAPPIER with how much $$$ I saved by buying this vs the others that I was looking 👀 at! My previous TV was also a TCL and I was very happy with it, until it just died & wouldn’t turn back on! I am a HUGE FAN of the TCL BRAND! You WONT REGRET THIS PURCHASE! ... show more

    • Perfect, affordable bedroom TV

This is a great, affordable TV for my bedroom. It obviously doesn’t compare to my Sony Bravia OLED in the living room, but it’s perfect for a bedroom set. Color and definition is great, the Google TV format is the same as my Sony and it’s easy to navigate. No problems setting this TV up or with the WiFi connection. I would definitely purchase this TV again and consider TCL for a larger, more premium model when the time comes. By the way, I wouldn’t recommend buying an OLED set just yet. I bought my Sony OLED in early 2021 and there is already faint graphic burn-in on the bottom of the screen from news & sports bands/chyrons. Stick with the LED micro/nano/quad screens for now. ... show more
