I purchased this to streamline the process and it has done just that. I’m able to place rock wool or soul directly into the tray. The dome with vents is great and I’m able to control the humidity within fairly easily. The leds fit securely into the lid and have adjustable power and timers for all cycles. The heating pad works great! Makes it super easy to keep the unit at a constant temp. It’s a bit flimsy as far as the plastic but that’s pretty much expected. Easy to clean up and start a new round. This kit is very affordable and perfect for starting seeds. 40 cells instead of 50 saves on root plugs and provides a more compact area. With the included lights this kit can sprout 80 seedlings using two trays and domes.
