This is a fantastic hammock! It was easy to assemble and is extremely sturdy. My husband and I, who combine for over 400 lbs, have both laid in the hammock multiple times with no concerns. I'm older and 230 lbs so can't easily stand up from sitting on or near the ground. Fortunately you can adjust the tension/height of the hammock. At the tightest I could get (two holes down on either side) sitting in it was like a regular chair so it was easy to get in and out. I think if you weighed more than 300 though it would be too low. There are tighter settings (lower holes) but I don't see how you could stretch it any further to reach them because the ropes aren't long enough. HOWEVER despite all that it's very comfortable, solidly strung, and feels sturdy enough once you're in it. It has enough cloth for two people but you'd be on top of each other so it's really best with just one and maybe a dog. And the cocoon kind of wrap-around lets you hide yourself from neighbors if you don't have a lot of privacy. Then for the price? Easy buy decision for me. ... show more

The ability of this hammock to be disassembled with incredible easy into a shockingly small bag astounds me. I bought this hammock on recommendation from my friend who claimed this was a cheap and extremely high quality product. Very comfortable.
