  • Really helps/works!
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
This Sock Assist really works. I have a very bad back. Bending to put on socks can be very painful. I also have wide feet. The Sock Assist works wonderfully well. I slip the sock over the end of the foot tube, put my foot into the tube and pull the ropes. The sock is pulled up and onto my foot and it's totally painless. Well made and very study. Worth every penny! ... show more

  • Does the job
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
Due to a recent leg fracture, i was in needd of a sock helper to put on my sock on that leg. I've used one of these in the past but no longer had it. Saw this on amazon and it was exactly what I needed. Put the sock on the device and wiggle it with the attached ropes and it slowly moves your sock up your foot and then leg. If you cannot bend over to put socks on, then this is what you need. It's sturdy, easy to use, and does the job! ... show more

  • SO HELPFUL!!
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
Struggling to bend down to put on socks or knee-highs causes me a lot of pain. This device works like a charm! It’s easy to use; works just as the description says. I would definitely recommend it!

  • Great helper
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I've tried other types and they don't last. Stitching came apart after couple months of daily use. This model is easy to get the sock onto and easy to get your foot into. Made solid.

  • Don’t waste your money!
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I broke my leg in three places recently, and am in a boot for 8 weeks, non weight bearing. Putting on socks became a challenge, ie. someone else had to do it for me. On the advice of my OT, and in a desperate search for independence, I bought this device. Here is my verdict: 1) Threading the sock onto the device is easy enough. 2) Sliding your foot into the sock is also easy. 3) Trying to remove the device from the sock once it is on your foot is problematic. The slip resistant cuff is exactly that - I had to tug really forcefully to try to remove it, and that caused a lot of additional pain in my leg. The sock stuck to the device as if it had been glued on. 4) The plastic shell is very uncomfortable when it rests on my surgery incisions. I have already ordered and road tested a different sock donner, which has a fabric lining and no slip resistant cuff. It works perfectly, slides comfortably, and was a lot cheaper into the bargain. If you’re interested, it’s the CAidRE Sock Aid, priced at $9.99. And it is covered by the Free Returns policy if you’re not happy with it. I tried to do a return on this item, only to find that it is non-returnable, for health and safety reasons. I fail to see why the manufacturer would not accept returns on an item designed for people recovering from surgery, when the device itself actually causes more discomfort than the bending and stretching required to put your socks on without such a device. I’m very disappointed, and will not be buying anything else from this manufacturer. ... show more

  • Hard to use if you have wide feet or maybe bunions
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
The idea is great and I use it with a little difficulty as I have wide feet and bunions. Hard to get foot in properly with ease. Wish it was a little wider.
