I tried this product as part of natural regimen for sleep. I combined this with some 5HTP and melatonin. It actually seemed to be quite effective at helping me feel relaxed. It’s a quality source of magnesium at a good price so it’s hard to knock this for any reason

    • Relaxed Me & Made Me Sleep!
First day it arrived, I took 1 Pill (1 serving). I was chewing some generic Magnesium Glycinate gummies I found at Walgreens, where 2 Gummies = 1 Serving at only 100mg. It didn't do anything for me, so I doubled that while I purchased these pills, and 200mg did do the job. SO, knowing 1 Pill had 500mg...I was expecting for it to get me sleepy. Took pill at 8:19pm. At about 10pm I realized...this is not doing anything for me. Bummer. 10:30pm nears, I'm on the couch watching YouTube, and I need to lay down because I'm sleepy. My body relaxes so much It felt just like a Body High on cannibal oil. I actually got a bit loopy and silly trying to talk to my husband and called myself "Gumby" (anyone remember that children's show?) Because I felt so relaxed that I felt flexible as if I was rubber LOL! I even sounded high! I was pleased that it totally relaxed me. I did randomly wake up at 2am....but don't remember anything else or why and then went back to sleep with no issue. Woke up before my alarm for work and wasn't groggy. Part of me wants to try 2 pills just to see what happens at 1000mg...but maybe on a Friday night. My husband, who has terrible insomnia - has tried Ashwaghanda, Melatonin, and even the same Magnesium Gummies- when he saw how it got me acting like I was high on cannabis, he took a pill. This morning I asked what he thought of this Magnesium, to see if it worked for him...he said, "yeah it definitely helped me sleep." I appreciate the addition of Vitamin D3, Zinc, and Black Pepper for absorption! ... show more
