I’m a sceptic about taking supplements for a lot of things but after a lifetime of poor sleep, sleep aids that make me jittery or so groggy I can barely open my eyes in the morning, I decided to try magnesium. In the past I either don’t fall asleep until 3-4 am or wake up at 3-4 and can’t fall back asleep. My mind runs wild, I obsess over things and I can’t turn it off. I’ve been taking one pill every night after dinner for a couple months and I quickly fall asleep at night and am staying asleep until 7 am. I don’t wake up groggy at all! Took a couple weeks for the sleep to really come consistent but it’s life changing for me! The pills a bit hard to get down, but I’ve always had a hard time swallowing larger pills. ... show more

I take it for health purposes, but I also like it to help me sleep I like this particular brand because not only is it a good value for the money, but the pills are very easy to swallow… nothingworse than taking something to relax and then choking on it!!! Bought this for my wife who was struggling to get a good night's sleep. Thought it would take a few days, but it worked the first night! Make sure you don't take it on an empty stomach, though.

I was having some sever calf cramps in the middle of night so bad I could barley walk for days . Granted it was brought on by a serious Ketogenic Diet si I recalled what good old DR Atkins had said back in the 80's before his family sold out to the Internet Keto Low Carb Craze about supplementing electrolytes . Ordered these and have not had a cramp since started eating an entire pill daily but quickly reduced by about 1/2 as the highest daily recommendation is capped at 300 mg by many health advisories and you can cause some fairly serious issues exceeding it. Bottom line from experience magnesium dose help manage or even eliminate muscle cramps due to a magnesium deficiency in your diet ! ... show more
