The pipe welded to the resonator on my 08 pilot was broken completely off before the catalytic converter and a couple months back the flange after the catalytic converter was broken too due to rust. I inserted a pipe between the resonator and converter and used a couple of flange repair kits on the other side. I used this product to patch the seams between the two spots and car has been the quite for some time. Other products I used would become brittle and break off where this product isn’t doing that. Product was easy to use and was quick drying compared to others I have used. I don’t think this would work for large holes seeing that it is watery out of tube but filling in cracks or small holes this would hold up. ... show more

    • Thinner than "non slumping"- make sure to cure w/ heat
This worked well for me to seal a flange on a smoker/ bbq. Not the intended application, I know, but that's OK. This stuff reminds me of Rocksett, in that it doesn't do much of anything until activated by heat. That's handy if you know how to use it and follow directions. It changes from gray to white when cured, I just hit it with a torch. Seems to work well. Obviously it's sealant, not a patch, not a way to fix some gaping hole in a rusty muffler. Use it right and it's good stuff. I'd say it's runnier than "non slumping" and my bottle had a big air bubble. I didn't weigh it. I had plenty for what I needed and it worked. ... show more

    • quantity should have been around 2 oz. Seems like I got half a tube.
I gave this product plenty of time to set before I wrapped the entire area with Pacewalker Exhaust wrap. But still the hole slowly opened again.

It doesn't slump and sets up quickly and adheres well. Better than others I have tried.
