  • Excited until I tried to play a vinyl record...
There is always one in a hundred that doesn't work, I guess. My record player was dead on arrival and nothing I did powered it on. The little light didn't turn on; the going from outlet to outlet in the house didn't give it power. I did everything in the manual step by step, and it isn't rocket science. Very easy to use if it had power when plugged in. I had to send it back and got a refund within a few days. UPDATE....... It was my fault that the record player didn't work. I was attaching the wrong cord to the machine. There was a nice thick cord and then a thin little cord. I mistakenly was trying to play the record player with the thick cord which goes to the computer, or something else. The thin cord goes with the wall adapter and that turns on the record player. Sorry, this 75 year old granny needs better instructions with pictures, I guess. Just played a 60 year old Elvis record and it sounds pretty good, so I'm happy. No complaints on the sound and the needle made the record sound almost like new. Thank you D & L for your patience with me. ... show more

  • Great Value for retro look
Color: Black
This is a great beginner vinyl player, it offers alot of features. Speakers not so much. But you will absolutely hook it up with the proper speakers. Worth every cent, with just the built features, bluetooth and recording options. Let's Go retro!

  • nice
Very nice wood, very beautiful, my daughter really liked it. The sound is not great but its not bad either for it to have built in speakers. The lid of it is lined with black velvet material and does not have the dl logo on it. The cost is not bad and good for the item. Love that its made of real wood. Would have giving it 5 stars if the lid was not lined with velvet and had the logo in it ... show more

  • Exactly what I paid for, and a good price too!
This record player is extremely high quality, plays vinyl's perfectly, and has had no issues so far. it's easy to use, and very affordable too. It was exactly what I was hoping the product was, and I give it a solid 10/10.

  • So-so player with only some working features
***REVISED-multiple reviews*** 1st review Item arrived with a major crack on the dust cover and refused to play several records. Turn table had difficulty moving with record on it and slowed further when arm was put down to play record. Very disappointed and returning for a different brand. 2nd review The company sent me a second one for free to replace the original player I had purchased and returned. The one arrived intact and I was able to play records on it right out of the box. Sound quality is ok, but it is tinny sounding. I was hoping to be able to hook up my sound bar via an aux cord but that won’t be possible. When you plug an item into the aux port on the back the record will not turn. I tried multiple cords with the same result so either they didn’t allign the port properly or there is no port either way plugging something in interferes with the motor. I haven’t tested the media conversion component yet but will update my rescues when I do so. In my opinion you get what you pay for and this is only a so-so record player. If you want a better sound quality and features that actually work is look for a different player. ... show more

  • blow the dust off your old records and buy this player!
We had a desire to play 30s/40s records which had long been forgotten. I selected this record player for the distinctive wood case and when it arrived, we thought it was very well made. Also a nice feature was the built in speakers, nice portable size and overall a really good modern update to a old fashioned type of item. It is the second one which I purchased, this for myself, after I bought the same unit as a baby present for a work colleague, which they requested for their nursery! As you can see, my family highly recommends this record player. ... show more

  • Inexpensive and Cheaply Made
Color: Black
I've owned this record player for 5 months now and about two weeks ago it stopped operating nearly altogether. While it operated the sound quality was "fair" and the price was "good". Considering it no longer works I am rating it 1-star. This is a multi-purpose record player with an AUX-in, bluetooth, and phonograph mode. When I turn it on now it will either cycle through each mode on its own and not stay in a mode long enough to play anything, or when I switch it to record-player mode (phonograph) it will switch back to bluetooth before I can start playing music. On top of everything else, it seems to have broken-down roughly 2 weeks after the "product support window" closed, so I am without recourse. 0/5 ... show more

  • For Oldtimers and the Retro Crowd
I've worn out a few old-fashioned phonographs on my work bench in the garage, where part of a large LP collection groans on numerous shelves, and I have been looking for another replacement. I liked the sleek, simple looks of this turntable and just from an aesthetic point of view, it's a pleasure to watch the platters spin under the more than adequate tone arm. The speakers (generously called "stereo") are adequate if boxy, but that is par for the course nowadays, and only nostalgic recall tells me the speakers were any better back in the old days when we dragged our portable record players to dance parties. But I don't need a high end stereo in the garage, and that boxy sound (especially on 45s) brings back wonderful memories of the Dell-Vikings and raunchy 19 cents hamburgers from A&W and kisses that tasted like french fries. A replacement needle and 45 adapter are included. Right now the garage is pleasantly filled with the rain forest sounds of Martin Denny's "Exotica" and I'm smiling. For the price, this does exactly what I was looking for. Now we'll see how it holds up. ... show more
