Viking Professional 5-Ply Cookware provides commercial grade quality for in- home use. With an elegant satin finish and five layers of metal, this premium line of cookware is specially handcrafted in the USA. 5-Ply construction maximizes heat transfer and reduces energy usage, features that enable Viking cookware to deliver superior cooking performance. Each layer of metal is created to provide durability and efficiency. The exterior layer is a magnetic stainless steel that makes the cookware suitable for induction stovetops. The next layer of aluminum alloy bonds to the middle layer, which is pure 3004 aluminum. The fourth layer is an aluminum alloy bonded to the interior 18/10 high-grade stainless steel. Together, these five layers work in unison to transfer heat quickly and evenly while using less energy to achieve desired cooking temperatures.

These are terrific pans. Sturdy. Flat. Heavy Duty. They cook and brown food evenly and quickly on low heat. Just to note: when you first cook with them, and after you clean them for the first time, if you're like me, you want them to shine and reflect just like when you first looked them over. They don't. But wait, not all is lost, no need for any concern, there's an easy solution. All you have to do is wet the pan slightly, sprinkle sparingly a little Barkeepers Friend, rub in a circular motion with a nylon scrubber, and voila, the pans are just like brand-new, inside and out . Great set, the cost is a little pricey but what can you expect when wanting a great set, sometimes you have to pay a little more to get the quality you require. Cooks very evenly and easy to clean. All you need is a sponge and some soap very easy. Some of the pans seem to be discoloring here and there but using a magic eraser will take it right away! ... show more

Dont waste money on celebrity sponsored cookware !! These are the real deal commercial grade. Stainless steel can be non stick if u know what your doing. Consistant heat throughout the pan surface and will never warp. Havent tried using on induction stove but gas range was a joy to cook on.

I am writing this letter to bring to your attention the issues I have encountered with your product and hope for a resolution to this matter. Firstly, upon receiving the cookware set, I was dismayed to find that some pans and lids were missing from the packaging. This was highly inconvenient as I had expected to receive a complete set as advertised. The incomplete packaging has been an inconvenience that I had not anticipated. Additionally, the quality of the cookware that I did receive is very poor. As a customer, I had high expectations for the Viking Cookware brand due to its reputation for producing high-quality products. I loved everything about this cookware. It is not non-stick, (Nor did I expect it to be.) but the thickness of its construction helps keep foods from sticking and creamy sauces from scorching. It is amazing and money well spent.
