It really pulls everything out of your solar panels. I've had as high as 105% of the panels output rating.

Brought this to replace one from Renogy that malfunctioned. This one is so much better and smaller. The old Renogy one was also 100 amps but this one has a higher input voltage rating.

Installed on a 48v system, I have Absolutely no complaints. My second Victron charge controller because i was producing too much amps for the first one.

    • Build your setup on paper first.
when you're planning out your setup make sure that you account for the fact that you can only charge at 100 amps off this charge controller. So if you're trying to do a 6 kW solar array you need to be running in the neighborhood of 48 volt system to take advantage of the full 6 kW. I made that mistake and started building a 24-volt system and now I'm limited to about 3000 watts.... That's what I get for buying the batteries and the inverter before I built the solar array... Ordered a 250/100 victron charge controller. It wasnt working right out of the box. But Brandcentric went out of their way to contact Victron to get a replacement in a timely manner. Cant beat the good customer service they gave me. Id recommend and trust 100%

    • Victron is Good Stuff
I've been using Victron solar controllers for over two years now, in two solar setups. So far their entire line of equipment has been easy to use and dependable. When I did have a warranty issue, there wasn't the slightest problem. I plan to buy more, if and when required.
