    • Quiet, very quick fill time
I bought this to replace a no-name compressor that was installed in a Rat Rod I purchased last year. Contrary to other reviews I have read, I think this unit is pretty quiet. In my application, the compressor is mounted to a bracket thats welded to the frame directly behind the drivers seat. I have it wired to a relay through the ignition and a 120-145psi pressure switch on a 3 gal tank. It will fill the tank from 0psi to 145psi in about 3min., and from 120-145psi in about 30sec. I dont have a lot of experience with air ride systems, or these compressors, but it must use a fairly standard mounting bolt pattern as it replaced the cheapo pump that was installed exactly. This pump came with everything needed to mount it including the screws, it pumps from 0 psi to 140psi in about 3.5 minutes and from 110 psi to 140 psi in about a minute for my 3 gallon tank. I am thinking of getting another pump like this and use a 175 psi switch instead of my 140 psi.
