As long as you keep your water in mind 70's and a pH around 6 the system clones roots fast.

    • Easy and clean.
I am an experienced grower and cloning is one of my core skills. I have 7+ years of hands on experience with soil and hydroponics but aeroponics was pretty new to me. So when I bought this at first I was not sure what to expect but it went surprisingly well! It's a very clean and straightforward way to make clones. And boy do the roots bust out! Two important tips to take into account are 1: PH balance is critical to maintain! I admit, the first few weeks I was a bit neglectful when it came to checking ph balance. And when I add in nutrients the ph would often go down into the acid range over some time. So daily ph check ups are a good idea. 2: using a timer and clonex cloning solutions helps gets things going smoothly. I HAVE ALSO FOUND THAT YOU CAN GERMINATE SEEDS IN THIS! It's amazing how simple it is. Why no 5 stars you ask? Well my only issues are as follows. 1: The top cover that holds the clones and foam are made of a thin and very flexible plastic. I think it would be better with a much more sturdy top. But it's not a deal breaker. 2: it's a bit pricey. After receiving the machine I quickly realized how simple it would be to make something like this out of a storage container. The only thing that should be expensive (but not over 40 bucks) is the water pump and manafold. So my suggestion to viagrow is to consider dropping the price down. Because this product is truly not worth 70 dollars, even if I do love it! ... show more

    • Haven’t got my refund yet
I had only the bottom part and I sent it back. I ordered another one. I got the other one the other ones fine but all I got was the bottom piece. I didn’t get any of the pieces to go with it and that means that I should’ve got a refund but I haven’t got the refund yet.

    • Reservoir is made of better plastic
I was replacing a unit that I’ve had for 5 years. This unit is identical except the bottom is made of a more flexible plastic that shouldn’t crack. They should have done this initially, but at least I got 5 years out of it, this one should last even longer?

Yah it’s light weight plastic so what I purchased this in February 22 and have taken quite a few healthy clones off of it The thing is take your time follow the instructions I only use clonex products The cloning gel The nutrient solution And the misting spray Follow the instructions Ph your water Control the water temperature Or place in a room that is a constant 68 to 75 degrees very important A heat pad or fish tank heater whatever you have to do I try and use a node as the new root zone and I scrape off the stem very lightly Then dip your stem and Place them in the pucks with about 1.5 to 2” Hanging below And a cheap fluorescent light above Then leave alone Check the water level about every 4 days or so Unplug it when you check water add water as needed to keep it above the pump Mix up water with your clonex and ph it Go lighter on the nutrients as they are still some present in your water Give it about 3 weeks minimum Note some plants are a little hotter and root faster and some just take their time You can keep plants in the cloner for several weeks after rooting you will have to trim them a bit To keep them from weaving a web of roots you can’t separate And yes the top needs to be placed correctly so it doesn’t leak But for 70 bucks it’s a bargain ... show more
