So, I put this together by myself over 2 days. The instructions say that you need 2 people, you do not. All you need is a good drill. It will be your best friend in doing this. The instruction book at first is overwhelming at 46 pages, plus it is all pictures, no words. As long as you pay attention to what you are doing, the instructions are drawn very well. It has a lot of parts, over 40, and over 10 types of screws. Everything lined up perfectly, my only little problem was with the pull knobs. The holes in them were not drilled large enough. I did skip a few parts, I didn't need it strapped to my wall. Plus they want you to tack down the back of everything, truthfully, it was sturdy enough for me. All in all, it came out great! I’ve had this vanity for about a month now, and for the most part it’s great. Putting it together was a little difficult (taking about 4-5 HOURS), and it did not come with all of the hardware necessary to put it together, so you will need screws, if not more. About a month in, the magnet to hold the mirror shut struggles to keep it closed. I can get it to shut after a few attempts, but it’s not as good as when I first put it together. Also, one of the outlets at the top will be used by the desk itself, as the power cord for the light in the mirror is plugged in there, limiting the power to only one outlet and the usbs. You will also have to clean the mirror fairly often. The power button is on the mirror, meaning every time you turn the mirror light on, to another setting, or off, it smudges. The mirror also smudges when you have to open the door and get behind it, then again more smudges when you close it. This builds up quickly. Aside from those small problems (that may have only been specific to the vanity I received, aside from the smudges), the vanity is amazing. Lots of organized storage, sturdy, and the light settings work well, with an actual visible difference in them. The vanity feels strong and seems like it can withstand being moved around a few times. I put this together and found that there are 2 electrical items for this vanity. One plugs into the wall and one plug goes from the mirror to a small power strip on the vanity. My issue is the adapter that goes from the Mirror to the small power strip on the vanity is a European-type plug. The issue is I live in the US, and the plugin for the small power strip was a US-based plugin. I have attempted to contact the seller and even the customer service that was listed on the instructions, but both are different emails. The one from the instructions did reply but then ghosted me after telling them my order number as they requested. This is a really cute vanity with lots of storage. We recently had a crack form in the mirror, which was our fault, not the manufacturer’s. I contacted the company and they immediately sent a replacement lighted mirror free of charge. They were extremely responsive and provided great customer service. I like that it was packaged very well. I like that the pieces were numbered. I dislike the YouTube video it's too fast and plays music. It would help if it were slower and someone talking you through. It took my husband and I roughly 3-4 hours. We had make small correction because the instructions weren't clear.
