So, if you think you could settle for a smaller fan, definitely go with that instead, since this may be difficult to use in your house or business (even in low-key emergencies) since it's so loud. I would save this more for large, stinky painting projects, construction, water damage remediation, and temporary warehouse air circulation. Good value, but hearing protection is required if working in the immediate vicinity of this fan. I purchased this an exhaust fan for my garage and it moves a ton of air but is just extremely loud. Better to be wearing ear protection than dying of a heat stroke though!

I have had really good luck with vevor products. Using this to ventilate my garage. I live in cali so on a hot day it's about 73-80 f. Fan will run for approx 5-10 min. Then shuts down, I believe this to be thermal protection, motor is warm at this point. I thought it had something to do with air restrictions so I took the duct out of the equation, it ran a bit longer maybe 4 min increase and still shuts down. I let it cool and comes rite back to life. When it is working it moves alot of air and works great, possibly I got a bad motor but I am outside the return policy. Electrician friend said possibly a bad capacitor so I'm going to explore that next. Bottom line don't let it sit in the corner when it arrives pop the box open immediately and make sure it's in working order. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Just bought it so I can’t really comment on the durability but I have purchased other fans like this one. This one was the cheapest and came with the duct so I am Skeptical about How well it would work and the quality, but it actually moves a lot of air. I would definitely buy again!
