Using this with big buddy heater. Plenty of space for heater, quick connect hose for 20lb tank, a/c cord for built in fan, two Fuel Keg 1lb tanks and refill kit for them. With space left over when needed. Should keep heater clean and accessories all in the same place.

    • Outstanding bag holds everything you need and more
This Big Buddy bag is outstanding. And large enough to hold your Big Buddy heater, some 1 pound propane bottles, hoses and other accessories. My Big Buddy heater slips right in nice and easy. It holds two propane bottles in the side pockets. (and a couple more inside next to the heater). In the front zip pocket, I have Mr. Heater's 12-foot RV Quick Disconnect hose. (F271803) and Mr. Heater's 6 volt power adapter F274800. In the rear zip compartment I have the manual and another Mr. Heater 12 foot hose, a Mr. Heater two stage model 73627 regulator rated for propane cylinders up to 100 pounds with Mr. Heater's propane quick connect adapter kit F276330 for connecting 100 pound cylinders to the Big Buddy as the internal 2 swing out regulators are rated for 20 pound cylinders only. So must connect to the heater's quick connect fitting , which by-passed them, to connect to an RV's low pressure lines or to connect to larger propane bottles using a regulator rated for that bottle or higher. I also have Flame King's one pound cylinder refill kit, with stand, zipped up in the rear pocket with the refill nozzle inside the main compartment next to my Big Buddy. The case itself is good quality nylon cordura. The seams are well sewn and the zippers are of good quality. The carrying strap is great when you have a lot of your propane toys within the bag. :) So yea, you've room for all your Big Buddy and all of it's propane toys in a single bag. :) ... show more

    • Not the toughest case around, but then I try to be gentle with my heater anyway
The heater fits in the bag. It can carry extra one pound tanks. It can carry a hose to attach to a 20 pound tank. It's not the strongest material out there, but I try to be careful with my heater so that shouldn't matter. It gives me a way to haul my heater, other than the cardboard box it came in, to go camping and keep all the heater stuff together. ... show more

This is the official (made by Mr. Heater) carry case for the Big Buddy heater series (4000/9000/18000 BTU/hr.). Depending on where you got your heater from, they can be red/green/yellow and some have a built-in fan but they all have the same shape and fit this bag. It's the one with 2 heating panels and a knob on the right side of the machine and swing-away doors on both sides to hold two 1lb canisters. This bag is too big for the Portable Buddy which only has 1 panel, knob on the left and only holds one 1lb canister. The case is well built. There are 3 zippered compartments and 2 mesh side pockets and includes a strap. - main zippered compartment holds the Big Buddy Heater - front zippered pocket holds any accessories (regulator hose, etc.) - rear zippered pocket is "flat" and can hold the instruction manual - 2 mesh side pockets hold 1lb propane canisters - removable padded shoulder strap The main compartment has a dual zipper flap to give it a generous size opening when unzipped, which makes it easy to put the Big Buddy inside. The zippers are high quality but I found it a little cumbersome to fasten the Velcro at the end of the main compartment zippered flap. It does the job but it is a bit of a blind operation and I wish they would improve on the Velcro closure for the flap. I really like that the front zippered compartment is large enough for accessories you'll likely use for the Big Buddy. Pictured is a 10' hose and it fits easily with plenty of room, so I expect it can accommodate any of the hoses and adapters/regulators sold for the Big Buddy. I am hoping to buy a F271803 12' hose with regulator in the future to allow me to connect my Big Buddy heater to a 20lb propane tank without a fuel filter. The side mesh pockets hold 1lb propane canisters perfectly, I am not sure if it will hold up after repeated use and do wish that they had a more user friendly design, one that's more 1 handed. Overall happy with this. I had been wanting to get a bag for my Big Buddy and this fits the bill. I would give this a solid 5 star if they improve on the main compartment flap Velcro and side pocket design. ... show more

Fit perfect. Heater fit without an issue. Both propane tanks fit without an issue. Also able to fit the long hose for a big propane tank in the front pocket.

    • Very good storage for my Mr. Heater Big Buddy
This carrying case is thick and sturdy. I have it loaded with the Mr. Heater Big Buddy, a 12 foot propane line so I can connect it to a 20 lb propane tank and two 1 pound propane bottles. And there is still room for more stuff. I think that this will be a good place to store my Big Buddy for out of season storage to keep it clean and dust free and an easy way to haul it all around with me. From the looks of the carry case, it looks like it is sturdy enough to last many years. But, only time will tell... ... show more

It has lots of extra room inside for any hoses or extra propane. It seems to be well made. If it was a few bucks cheaper i think more people would buy them
