We got our machine and went to hook it up. The stickers where in the wrong place and the videos do not clearly show how to. After several attempts of contacting customer service we figured it out on our own. Worked great for 2 milkings then hoses needed to be taped on to connectors. And now they must have a leak. We're new to milking goats and so are our girls. A vineyard wanted our wethered boys, then when he came to pick up he asked if he could have the doelings, too. So all of a sudden I had mom's in milk and no kids, so we needed to milk does who had never been milked by a human. We milked by hand for the week it took the machine to arrive, which took a good 15 mins for each doe. We thought the girls wouldn't like the sound or feel of the machine, but they didn't even blink when we hooked them up. Even the doe who usually wiggles and kicks was calm. They were all milked in a blink (maybe 5 mins each) and went thru a fraction of the grain they would eat when being milked by hand. We also got twice as much milk with the machine. ... show more

Overall I’m pretty happy with this set up. Especially for the price - it’s a good value. It was straight forward to connect. It works well overall. It takes a bit to get used to maneuvering the machine without twisting up hoses. The suction is fair. It cut my milking time down from 30-45 min to 20!!! The biggest downside is that while the bucket might be 6L it has an overflow stopper that’s quite large so it only holds 3L of milk before it’s back filling onto the teat… I would have gotten a bigger one if i knew it only held 3L. It also doesn’t indicate when it’s full just starts chugging and acting like it’s broken and spitting the milk back…. I wish it beeped or buzzed or something… Anyways, this might work well for a goat but I’d recommend a larger option for a good production Dairy cow. ... show more

    • DO NOT BUY! Vevor Customer support is worthless, dead pump no replacement
The media could not be loaded. The pump worked ok for about a month, then it died and Vevor support asked for video evidence, which I sent them. The reply to the video was “ Please plug in the charger and turn it on. ” which I tried, on the original video that I sent to them. When I called support, they refused to actually talk about the problem and referred me back to the website where I was already having these conversations. Additionally, the hoses collapse under the pressure, reducing flow of milk. I should have just invested in a higher quality milking machine. Save your money. ... show more

This product is not for larger scale. Micro scale is fine. If you have a lot of goats, cows or sheep, this will not cut it. Even though it works great, it would burn out easy beyond a few goats or a couple cows if you're wanting to. Emergency use would be good. Get a larger one with at least a 1/3 hp vacuum pump and larger bottle for beyond that. ... show more

This is a great budget option for 1-2 goats. I spend a fraction of the time it took me manually milking. Instructions were not very helpful but with a bit of common sense you will figure it out. Will definitely look at Vevor products for future purchases.
