This is a very nice extractor. I don’t have to turn a crank handle anymore. Be sure to install the 2 lids before you turn it on or it won’t run. It has safety switches for the lids. Nice feature.

Great extractor for the price. Easy to put together and operate. Was very surprised by how quiet it was. In summary here are pros and cons. Pros Good price, works well, easy to use and put together. Disassembly is easy but you do need a tool to loosen the mounting nuts. Cons Slight defect on one of the hinges for the lid. So that side has a small gap, no biggie. Slightly awkward to put med frames in the perpendicular slots, but they do fit. Disassembly is easy but assembly can be a bit fiddely due to the arms that attach to the motor/ central bar not being rigid. They basically flop around and it’s fiddely to align them again. Also no biggie. Lastly the hole for honey gate is a little high up the side of the drum so you need to tip the extractor quite a lot to get the last couple gallons out and if you tip it a 5 gallon bucket no longer fits underneath. I set it up on the longest leg setting as well so this is the main reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. Luckily I’m strong enough to have no issues picking it up and putting it at an angle on top of the bucket to drain the last bit. The extractor seems well made but is not overly heavy which helps. FYI don’t tighten the main 4 nuts on the motor/ central bar too much, I think you could bend it out of shape if you are not careful. I basically used a socket by hand to tighten so there was no play. The media could not be loaded. When turned on makes very loud scraping sound. It gets so loud, that it's impossible to use.

Pros: -It works. -It was fairly cheap. Cons: -The packaging is poor quality - it arrived with several dents and the hardware strewn all over the inside of the box. I ended up missing two nuts. -The lid doesn't close all the way. -As with all Chinese products, the instructions are useless. There is a red t-shaped piece in the second picture that I still haven't found a spot for. ... show more
