    • Bummed! BUT THEY FIXED THE ISSUE

*UPDATE* Turns out the only problem was a faulty charger. I initially contacted the company about returning it but after troubleshooting it with the person from the company I decided to hold off on returning it and letting them send out a new charger. I can not express enough how easy to deal with and nice they were. We got the new charger 2 days ago and haven’t had a problem since. Sure it was inconvenient to have my kids’ gift mess up but I’ve learned to accept that things happen & I’m certain this company didn’t intend to send a faulty part. If anyone runs into an issue with their board, contact the company. They were prompt with replying & very apologetic. As much as my kids love this board sharing it has become a bummer for them so I may be purchasing another in the near future :) It was super cool...for about 30 mins. Every time my kids try to use it, it only works for about 2 mins and then beeps like crazy with the battery symbol lit up. I put it on the charger & it charged for around 5 mins. Then the light went from yellow to green. I have tried charging it again but now the charger does not work. Happy Easter to us, UGH! ... show more

    • 8-year old loves this hoverboard!
My daughter asked for a dark pink hoverboard for her 8th birthday and this one seemed like a good deal. I like that this was a cheaper option without Bluetooth as she didn’t need that feature. She had tried her friend’s previously and and was quickly able to get going on this one. She rides around the house and yard and is even teaching her 4-year old brother to use it. They like the lights. The beeping is a little annoying but not too bad. It does have to be plugged in to charge after a little while, which hasn’t been a problem since she’s just using it for fun, but is something to keep in mind if you plan to travel with it. Also, I just noticed it’s listed as purple. I would have called it dark pink. The color on my screen is pretty accurate. ... show more

The product came well packaged and fully charged. My daughter loves it Review 1 year update Still going strong, all the lights still work on the wheels the battery doesn’t last quite as long as it used to but that’s probably due to over charging it. It’s not quite as fast as my 13 year old sons more expensive version but it does great for our younger daughter. I myself am guilty of riding it a time or two. ... show more

    • Didn't Last A Year

Ordered this as a replacement for another defective hoverboard hoping it would actually last. Didn't have any issues until after a year of having it. Now the red light just blinks and it beeps over and over. Seems like the left wheel has some issue where it doesn't work anymore. Once in a while it jolts really hard and hits against the pivot stops really hard. It also stops the right wheel from working making the unit defective. Reached out to the seller and all they said was that the warranty was for 3 MONTHS and gave me directions of how to "reset it", which of course, did absolutely nothing. With that short of a warranty you can tell they don't expect the components to last very long. And their "reset" instructions were to re-calibrate it, which is not the issue since it did absolutely nothing. ... show more

    • Great board has minimum weight req
Good hoverboard but be aware there's a minimum weight. Never would I think that would matter but my very skilled 3 year old LOVES to ride on her sisters older generation hoverboards so we got this one for her for Christmas. It vibrates insanely crazy when she gets on but works great for my bigger girls. It took us some time to realize it was probably a safety mechanism for younger kids. This could be a plus for some people bc it definitely kept my toddler off it. It wouldn't ride and shook. But it was a con for me bc she can ride better than any older kid and it won't work for her bc shes 34 pounds. Just an FYI. ... show more

When I first followed the directions to calibrate it, I didn't touch the hoverboard and it was leaning forward. I thought it was supposed to stand in it's natural state when calibrating. I'm glad I tested it before Christmas because the controls were completely off. I was about to return as I thought it was faulty. It wasn't until I watched youtube that when you calibrate it, you need to hold the board level so that it is not leaning forward or backward and in line with each other. That isn't clear in the directions that came with it, but it worked perfectly after. Christmas wasn't ruined lol. ... show more
