I hate cleaning paint brushes, plus after a while they can no longer be cleaned enough to keep using, so I don't buy expensive brushes as a rule. I did not buy these as throwaways, but replacements. I bought these brushes because they looked good and were at an amazing price for the quality. I am doing a few projects with both latex and oil-based paints and I didn't want to have to clean them each time. These have exceeded my expectations. They work very well for both types of paints. They don't lose bristles. They are fine enough to not leave big brush marks. Just the right stiffness. I recommend these. I have a lot of painting to do and the prices of paint brushes were killing me. I figured I would try this. I have used several different sizes and the brush works great I’ve lost maybe three Bristles in 10 brushes , they clean good but at that price I only cleaned them a few times , definetly worth buying and the price is amazing ... show more

These are surprisingly great for the price! They will leave minor streaks if you're going for a mirror finish with a high gloss or trying to cut in with a dark color, but they're perfect for putting on primer or a base layer that you'll later give a light sand to. I use them mostly for the first coat of oil based poly so I can just throw them away after, but I've been impressed that they hold up to washing out too when I've used water based. ... show more
