I love velvet curtains! All my curtains are like that and I went for gold thinking these have a nice shine to them but they don't. They're more yellowish. Still really nice and I love them but the color was a bit off from what I expected. They're not stopping as much light as I'd like to so you're still waking up in the morning cause of the sun, but they'll do for now. They do insulate a bit and they don't have wrinkles if you wash them and just hang them up to dry.
