Love this film. I put the film on my 5-sight light front door panels the day after arrival. Had to cut for each panel but not a problem. The small tape given to peel off the back film does not work. LOVED this, super durable, renter friendly. Sticks with just soapy water. Blocks the sun heat but not the LIGHT. Good for privacy, can’t see in during the day but you can see outlines at night though. Good bang for your buck, I’ve moved with this, packed it, took it down and readjusted and easily uncrinkles! I recently opened up a wall in my house. The problem with doing that was that you could see in my front door through to the back of the house. I didn’t want to have to put curtains on the window, so opted for this. I was sooo happy with the result. Light still comes in, yet no one can see in. My only complaint with the product was how hard it was to separate the backing. My door is made up of small panels. This vinyl was easy to cut, but it was a bear to remove the backing. Once the backing was removed, it was extremely easy to install. Will definitely buy again if I find the need for something like this. ... show more

We have a huge window in our bathroom and always feared our neighbors were getting a bit of a show after our showers!! I bought this film to cover up half of the window and feel soo much more secure. It still lets in tons of light but no one can see in. The installation was much easier than I expected and was rather forgiving when I did make a mistake.     • Don't trust the gridlines

I made the mistake of assuming that the grid lines represented one inch increments. Not so! They are slightly smaller than an inch and as such the piece I cut was too small. My bad; should have used a tape instead. As for trimming to size once in place; I used a new blade in my utility knife, but the material still tore rather than cut with a clean edge. Despite holding with one hand and carefully cutting with the other it was impossible to get a clean cut edge. I ultimately cut precisely to size despite directions suggesting to over cut and then trim to fit. All in all I'm pleased with the product, but having this info should be helpful to others. Also, to assist in separating the film from the backing, save the little sticky bit at the beginning of the roll and attach it to the newly cut edge for use in separating the next piece. Barring that, use a piece of strong tape and use it to pull the backing off the film. ... show more

I have used a lot of different privacy films. This was the easiest to install, looks awesome! Allows full light to come through but hides the ugly view! I 100% would buy this again!

Ok so let me start by saying I have installed plenty of privacy film on windows in most of my rentals, all ordered from different brands on Amazon. So i’m pretty good with installation and have had zero issues with any of them in the past (some being super cheap). I just bought my first home and was so excited to DIY and add some privacy to the doors/windows. Sadly my product came damaged with lots of wrinkles and creases from the middle to the end of the roll. So the film never straightened out no matter how much I squeegeed it or any amount of windex I applied. After multiple tries I just gave up. So it’s up on my windows now looking janky as hell with still lots of bubbles and imperfections. Maybe I just got a bad batch but I'm super disappointed because I loved the look of the reeded glass otherwise. Waste of $32 sadly as I’ll have to reorder and try again which I may not risk. ... show more
