The installation was easy. Key to adhesion is using lots of soapy water & a squeegee to smooth it on the window. The window film comes with a grid so it’s easy to cut to size along the dotted lines. Let’s light in but provides privacy. Great product!

nothing will completely replace real leaded glass windows but this film does an excellent job and looking almost the real thing. The diamond pattern is actually slightly raised and the frosted effect is also convincing. It provided the privacy I was after without needing to put up drapes or a blind. Let's plenty of light in and was easy to apply. Use plenty of soapy water and make sure to gently squeegee out the excess... check twice for any air bubbles because once the moisture dries, they are a devil to remove. I ordered this for a friend. She likes it. Said it had a couple tiny air bubbles in it when she put on window, but not noticeable. I saw on her window. I thought it looked good on her window. Made a nice privacy screen for a little window in her laundry room area. It lets in light, but at the same time gave privacy without being able to see through the window. I used this window treatment in our foyer which has a bay window with two smaller side windows. Application was easy: made my own soapy water and used my AARP membership card as a makeshift squeegee! The film is thick enough one would have to try to tear it. Easy on and off for moving to get the right placement. Used an Exacto knife and plastic ruler for trimming. The challenge will come in measuring the film to match up the pattern from window to window, but it is doable. I started on the small left window then did the right, saving the big window for last. The results were very satisfying - a classy traditional look for an old farmhouse and privacy as promised. Bye bye curtains! ... show more

This is very pretty; however, it was a pain to put on and wouldn’t stick like other window clings! I would definitely choose another option next round for this reason alone! It does help block the heat and sun some, but I know there are better options out there! Cutting was also a pain and it tore easily (not a good thing here)! ... show more
