I just loved my new electronic key lock for my front door, i was a little skeptical that this was going to be hard to install but for my surprise this electronic key lock was extremely easy to install, it took no more than 10 minutes for this installation. To do the first setup was easy as well and everything goes as planned. There are so many features that i like about this electronic lock for example the auto lock feature, and specially the finger print opening, It is very useful, I only open my door with my thumb and no need for keys, also we could register my wifes finger print and she is just thrilled about the new lock. Also it has a very modern look and comes with two keys, in case you need them, i believe if something wrong happens with the batteries. The delivery was fast as always from Amazon. The price was very competitive with others that did not offer the finger print opening. I also love the feature that you can set a different code for whoever you want to have access to your house. I wanted to wait until this had been in service for a while before writing a review. I installed this in late February so it has been 3 months now and still working like a champ. The Installation was easy and the setup instructions were easy too. It looks great on the door. Price is really good too. The deadbolt seems very strong. Adding users is straight forward without a bunch of hoops to jump through. I was impressed with the fingerprint reader it makes it so much easier to unlock the door especially when your hands are full. My Wife always has issues using fingerprint readers. She has given up on trying to use the one her Cellphone and said "You know it won't work because I always have problems with them". Well we did the 8 fingerprint readings and then gave it a try, it worked on the first try, she was sold it. I like the easy locking feature and the keypad is big enough to use but, now too big. I've yet had to add a one time use code but I am sure that will work fine too. I haven't enabled the Auto-lock feature because we live in the country and are in and out all day so it would not work that well for us. ... show more

The biometric electronic lock is a quality lock for the price. The directions were easy to follow, and install was simple (about 15 minutes). Programming it was a breeze to create a master lock code, additional lock codes, and then add fingerprints. I’ve had other electronic locks at previous places, I’ve lived but this is the first time I’ve had the biometric ability. I like it so far for the ease and with the code as a backup. The fingerprint reader makes it easy for my preschooler to unlock the door if he needed to, an added bonus. Pros: -Easy and quick install (directions with pictures or a video) -Appears durable (only had it for a short time so will have to follow up) -Stylish appearance -Responsive biometric ability -Ability to add up to 20 codes and fingerprints -Vacation mode (haven’t tried) -Auto lock (not a feature I’ll use with young kids but nice to have) Cons: -Motor unlocks deadbolt (this is a personal preference of mine as I’ve had motors die out after a few years and the lock must be replace. I prefer to use a code then I manually turn something to unlock the deadbolt). Hopefully this motor lasts more than a few years. Time will tell). -Limited color options (would be nice if they offered gold or black) -1-year warranty. Pretty standard length but could be longer. I used this to secure an outdoor building on my property. I was looking for something like this that is electronic but has a backup key if needed. The lock seems secure enough and works well. The fingerprint reader doesn't always work the first time. I noticed if you press lightly it works better than if you jam your finger on the sensor. Overall very happy with this item. ... show more

I am able to sleep well at night knowing that if I have a family member who comes home late and forgets to lock the door, that the door will lock itself in one minute. VERY easy to program and use. Highly recomend.

I installed the lock on my front door. I've used combination locks on my doors since my kids were old enough to have and lose a key. This is my first experience with a fingerprint device. These things are always a hassle to program, and this one is no exception. You will be happiest if you just pull a chair up to the door and settle in. Being able to walk up and just stick my thumb on the thing to get into the house is great. I do find that it often takes two or three tries. A really dumb feature is that, as near as I can tell, you can't remove someone's fingerprint without their finger. If you've thrown out your no-account boyfriend, you're probably going to have to hire a thug to go cut his finger off and bring it to you. This is illegal in many states and probably the District of Columbia, too. The alternative is probably a total factory reset, meaning you have to get all your other fingerprinters back to reprogram. The setup is a hassle, but the results are worth it, I think. ... show more

Love this lock if it works. Bought four over a couple of months. Three are easily installed and working. Directions to program are excellent. However the fourth lock would not work. I returned it to Kohls and Amazon credited, but it is temporary, pending their review of the lock. I asked to return for a replacement. Amazon lacks that feature. When I know the refund is a sure thing, I will order again. So my review is 75% great. Hope to get to 100. ... show more
