I almost sent this bed frame back, had wrote up my return reason and all but decided to try one more thing. I have a sleigh bed and wanted to replace my original box spring with a metal frame. I wasnt sure this would fit inside of my bed frame. I looked at reviews and couldn't find any but I searched all over the web and finally came across someone who said it would fit. So I took a chance orderd and then proceeded to put it together my self which took longer than it should have. But it didn't fit in my frame, scratched my solid wood and all. I was so frustrated because it was really close. After writing up my return I decided to take a break and it was late. I was able to finally get it unstuck and the thought of the hassle and pain it was going to be trying to return this with no box, since i had cut the box to get it out....oh and my niece had popped all the bubble wrap. I decided to turn it around and it just instantly fell into place inside of my frame between the foot and headboard. Also I have to attached side rails due to it having wood slacks which I removed for this to fit. I am able to store soo much under my bed frame and it is solid I couldn't be more pleased. Im glad I didn't return and if you have a bed frame this will fit inside of it. ... show more

I just put this frame together, it took me almost two hours. This is not because it was HARD to assemble, but a reflection at how bad I am at using simple tools and following directions. If YOU can do that, it would take MAYBE half an hour. Now, as the the construction: this thing is like a suspension bridge for your bedroom. All metal, and HEAVY metal, not flimsy thin junk like my last bed frame purchase in this price range. This is a bed for the Average American Body. It says it can hold 3500 pounds and I believe it. There is no squeaking getting in and out of bed. While I have not tested it under...other...conditions, I have no doubts it will remain suitably silent so the neighbors will not be discomfit by any nocturnal activities. It IS quite tall. They tell you how tall it is, but you need to experience it in person to understand that 18 inches is a lot for a bed. I like this as I live in a small NYC apartment and can use space and I am over six foot tall. If you are of short stature, or have elderly pets who share your sleep space, it may not work as well for you. All in all, very good value for the price. ... show more

Brought for a back of a cargo van (Nissan NV2500). Nice because you can shove your bags and even a porta potty under it. It has a high rise to it with no bars in in front. Pro tip. Just measuring to see if it fits is good but you also have to judge where the feet sit. I got the full. If I got the queen the foot would hang over into the cargo step. Might be ok but if you put your weight on the corner you be doing a "wheelie". Also keep in mind the wheel humps. Luckily most of these frames have good measurements in the photos. ... show more

I'm 300ish lbs and old school wooden headboards and rails don't last long. My Walmart bed didn't either and broke beyond repair pretty quickly. This feels solid and much more substantial, with nine legs versus eight and framing about twice the size. It feels really solid and I like it.
