Purchased this when my cheap harbor freight tool went up in smoke in about 3 minutes. The diamond cutter you see on there places an immense drag on the motor, you have to really hang on to the tool to control it. having the motor switch at the base gives you much better control, and your hand does not tire so quickly trying to hold the main assembly. Did not bog down like the HF tool, did not even seem to get particularly hot. Great ergonomics, & powerful. Recommend for the deck paint removal I was doing ... show more
