The lining inside of the sleeve is very soft and smooth. There is a good amount of cushion as well in the walls of the sleeve. Now, still be sure to try and not drop your computer in the sleeve because it’s not heavy duty. The color is pretty and it’s a neutral tone that matches most of my clothes and book bags.
