The media could not be loaded. This stoneware is fantastic I've been using it for over a year. I had to order a new set because I dropped 1 plate and chipped it. I highly recommend Vancasso it lighter weight stoneware is great with my arthritis hands also. They have different patterns, sizes, and colors. I can even reheat in the oven with them. Very easy to get clean too ... show more

I was so excited to get this set of dishes, as the colors remind me of when I was living in the Southwest... However, as much as love their vibrancy and design - it seems there are many blemishes/mishaps. From wear on the center of the red plate, to scratches on the back of another - and the glaze they used on the ceramic seems to be unevenly cured - as if it were handled before it should have been. And just by touch it's apparent, by sight it is as well. Oh well. They still can be eaten off of. :) ... show more

Bought these as a replacement for our home. They are beautiful and the colors vibrant. I expect them to last quite some time. My observations thus far after 4 months of use: 1. They cannot be used in the microwave. They heat up, too hot to the touch, when used to heat/reheat food. I have to use another container to heat up leftovers, and then transfer to the nice colorful dinnerware. I now have another dish for cleaning at the end of the meal. Have a dish towel or oven mitt ready to take the item out of the microwave because they will be hot. 2. The dinnerware itself is slick. The coating on each item is very smooth making it hard to wash by hand or clean out when water and soap are added to the mix. You will really need to hold on to the item or risk it slipping and crashing into the sink. The design may have been better to add a little texture or decorative pattern to the underside to make it easier to hold. ... show more
