It has a smooth fake cashmere short pile and a stunning blue tint. The plush, velvety feel of this rug was the very first thing that drew my attention to it. The synthetic cashmere material has a surface that is smooth and welcoming, and the sensation of it underfoot is quite similar to that of real cashmere. The rug makes for a warm and pleasant experience, regardless of whether my feet are bare or covered by socks when I walk on it. Because of the short pile, it is simple to clean and maintain, which makes it an excellent option for high-traffic rooms in the house such as the living room, bedroom, kitchen, dining room, and even the home office. The fact that this rug does not lose fibers is an admirable trait in and of itself. My previous experience has been with rugs that shed excessively, making it a never-ending struggle to clean up the stray fibers they produce. This rug is so beautiful!! It’s very soft and an easy to clean material. Not too thin, not too thick. Looks exactly as pictured. It does have a light purple tone in a few places which was an unexpected good surprise.

I was looking for a large washable rug that matched my room colors and would not break the bank. This one doesn't disappoint. I was worried the colors wouldn't be the same, but they are so pretty. It is very soft under bare feet. I took away one star as it is quite thin and has some wrinkles, but that is my only complaint. The size matches the length of my bar, and I chose the color to match my cups and vases, so the whole setup looks coordinated. The rug is made of short-pile material, it feels comfortable to walk on, and I love walking on it barefoot. My cat loves rolling around on it, and cleaning pet hair off of it with a pet hair remover tool works fine. It hasn’t shown any signs of damage so far, and both the vacuum and the robot vacuum can handle it well. The print on the rug is clear and looks well made adding a nice touch to the room.
