Vamcheer Machine Washable Area Rugs - 5'x7' Vintage Area Rug This 5x7 foot rug came folded up the size of a king bedsheet set. It is very low pile and I wouldn't say it adds any cushioning to a hard floor but it could easily lay on a carpet without adding height. I am using it in my main bathroom so the cushioning doesn't matter to me. What I do like for use in a bathroom is that it has a waterproof and anti-slip backing which makes it very stable.     • Affordable Way to Brighten Up a Room

I needed something to brighten up my family room while still being compatible with the overall decorating scheme. This rug caught my eye because of its appearance and its somewhat muted and unsaturated tones that fit in with the colors I already have without trying to overpower them. The attached picture does not fully convey the way the rug blends in with my room's overall appearance because it does compliment nearby greens, reds, and blues. I was pleased that the rub I received exactly match the rug that was displayed in the online store. No surprises! Laying out the rug was extremely easy and the non-slip backing lives up to its claim. I feel very secure walking on it and it does not move underfoot. The rug material is definitely thin but I expected that because of its ability to be washed. This is definitely not a heirloom quality rug, but at its price it does a commendable job of bringing color and comfort to the room in a way that exceeds my expectations. It also helps protect my hard flooring from wear and tear. One minor issue that I encountered with the rug is the presence of some residual folds and creases due to it being packaged in a tightly folded state. It possibly could have arrived with fewer creases if the rug was rolled on a rigid cardboard tube. But there would always be a risk of a longer format of the rug encountering folds and creases during shipping and handling. The current packaging is very compact and easy for the shipper to store and handle, which makes it less likely to encounter issues during shipping and handling. Following the included recommendations for flattening the folds did work quite well and I expect the entire rug will eventually lay flat with additional use. The other more subtle issue is related to the rug's extremely soft and smooth surface. While the nonslip backing keeps the rug securely in place and the rug's surface feels very good on your feet, anything placed on the rug is prone to sliding across its ultra smooth surface. In my case, if I put my feet on the coffee table (even though I shouldn't) the coffee table will start to move a little bit with the least bit of lateral force. This is application specific but you should keep this in mind of you place a lightweight furniture piece on top of the rug. This is a beautiful design and I was surprised at how well it works in various home decor situations. The carpet surface is soft to the touch and my pets have enjoyed a new place to lounge around. Looks like it is up to the task of occasional drops of liquid and is machine washable, even though I have not washed it as of this review. For the look, incredible softness, its ability to stand up to everyday heavy use, and its easy maintenance, this area rug is an outstanding value. This is a nice carpet - though the photo and the actual product are a bit different, this would look great as a winter seasonal (we got the green one) carpet. Either way, the quality is very nice, the material is soft, and it truly is a non-skid rug.

I absolutely love the ambience of a Persian style rug. This one looks the part for a fraction of the cost, plus it's machine washable. The medallion pattern and traditional hues in this rug are just exquisite. It gives such a warm and welcoming feeling to the space, with no worries about staining or shedding. It's extremely soft surface is barefoot friendly, and the non-slip backing on it helps to keep it in place.
